They e ha
Has anyone seen Carltons fixture? What paper bags scored them that, by far the easiest in the competition, of the teams that they play twice, ******* zero of them had a percentage over 100%
They’ve had piss easy draws for years. AFL working overtime to make them relevant

Very hard to crack defensively.
At the moment it is impossible to predict the form of many of the clubs , the swings in momentum are huge and form of some clubs are hot and cold.
For instance we beat Gold Coast , Gold Coast beat Carlton , we beat the Tigers and they beat the Dogs , Dogs beat the Swans , the Cats beat the Lions but got flogged by the Swans.
We have as good chance of any team this year.

How's this, we're currently:
3rd in disposals
4th in contested possessions
3rd in Clearances
1st i50 efficiency
2nd in Marks 4th in contested 2nd i50

What a turnaround since round 1. Humming along nicely 👌

I alway think the correllation between contested possesions and the ladder position is close.
4th and 4th right?

NWM just kicks so smoothly. Straight away even with limited numbers you can see he's just built different. Inside mids look dime a dozen while they develop.

I was worried that NWM would be your typical, "kick it to me or i won't get it " but he's no seagull, if its not happening he gets in and at it.
There are very few outside mids like that.
We could end up with a Burgoyne type.

Resurrect him I say

It is Essendon, Frankendick is a given, no coinccidence Port are winless given the power required for such a feat...

Until the week we play them, no doubt!

On iPad using BigFooty.com mobile app

They'll swap at the bye IMO, be in decision if they're happy with current backroom instances and if not which assistant fills gaps, very rare that a coach starts a season and gets turfed ASAP in todays AFL just based on performance alone. If Port are still winless at the bye then he is straight goneski thanks for coming, here's a week to refresh and start new.

Hope this is a joke. Hobbs is a kid. Really writing him off.

NWM is going ok, but let's see him in a team getting whacked.
Give these kids a break.

Soooooo.....i can't try to judge whether StKilda picked the best available pick in the draft or not.

Shit , George will have to go back and delete any mention of Petracca or Bontempelli.

Seriously, where did i say i was writing anyone off you idiot.

Not after 5 games I wouldn't have thought 😂

Yes 5 games in and you are crowing and you call others an idiot.
Would expect that on a nuffie Facebook group.
Embarrassed for you.

OK i'll admit i was on the Hobbs wagon too, but now i'm pretty happy with what we got.

It helps that Crouch and Ross came good and that Gresham has held up.

Contested midfield footy is back in fashion and if we'd had another year with Steele as our only decent mid we would be much like last year.

Naz looks good in a side that has ball winners so that he can run around loose. The club backed in a few guys that have come good but it was a gamble that paid off. Usually we haven't been great when it comes to rolling the dice. We seem to always play with loaded ones.

I'm not getting ahead of myself yet, we are still in our easier part of the fixture but you can't help but be happy with our form.

I still think long term Hobbs will be a star. Naz has more chance at being something etherial and special but perhaps more chance at looking ordinary in an ordinary side. I don't mind what type our guns are, as like as long as they are stars. To elevate to the absolute top we need quality on the list.

Spitting is really gross.
Nothing says lowlife more than spitting on someone.
When Big Carl was pinged for spitting on some player, his defence claimed that he was merely expectorating.
Funny how odd and unusual words will stick in a developing mind….

I suspect that those Carlton supporters may have been experiencing a mass expectorant event.

Even more so with 666. If you can't win the ball you are ****ed, you'll get turned inside out. It's something that will hold up too. Goal kicking efficiency and things like that can fluctuate but winning ball tends to be effort based so as long as you're working hard the contested stuff keeps you in games.

Where is my Easter Egg?

I'm happy to take the criticism back my way. I've spent the last 10 years giving it out to Trout and his mates so I should take it when I put up my own opinions.
