This is how I imagine Kate reacts when another Miguel Sanchez notification pops up on the club's Twitter.

Social media team is on a hiding to nothing when it comes to the injury list. Can only release what the football department allow them to and aren’t permitted to elaborate whilst defending the indefensible

I don’t get the secrecy. There’s no competitive advantage by withholding any information because we simply aren’t competitive

And it’s counterproductive. Right now the club should be everything it can to maintain the faith of supporters. Being elusive with the true state of injuries treats fans with contempt when actually revealing just what they’re up against would help supporters understand the problem

Responding to Miguel actually gives her something to do in-between regaling the rest of the office with tales of her AFLW career, like that goal she kicked that time.

Jobs for the boys girls goes both ways, from the office to the field and back again.

Social media team is on a hiding to nothing in general at the moment.

I pity whichever poor soul has the job of sending the “what do you think of our named 22?” Facebook post every Thursday or Friday then reading the response.

Slowly losing my self of humour ... 🤢

Expecting Allen to be delayed four weeks at a time until the end of the season where they'll just say he wont play at all.

Honestly I'd be fine with that.
Just keep him on ice for the year, he's our best young player, will be a future captain and a future champion.

Absolutely hit the nail on the head here.

Can’t help but feel they’re being contemptuous to supporters.

As you say, why the smoke and mirrors with the injury updates? Trying to maintain some competitive edge over the competition?

Guys, we’re sitting stone motherless last with a percentage below 50%. I think any competitive edge is well and truly gone.

Not surprised with Duggo, remember seeing him give it a good little tweak in a contest late in the game and then jog straight to the bench.

As for Oscar, we are fast reaching the point where you may as well shut him down & focus on getting him right for Day 1 of pre season

This. It is either contemptuous of fans or incompetence. Does the club really want the fans to support them through these tough times? Their actions so far would suggest not. The odd ra-ra-ra message sent from on high doesn’t cut it for this fan.

Pretty fulsome list for once other than Yeo, Strnadica and Jilliams not being mentioned. And Duggan I guess.

NicNat’s gone backwards, Allen’s now got an ankle not a foot, Petch and O’Neill are both probably worse than we thought, as is Ryan. Rioli is only 3-4 weeks (for now), and Sheed’s moved closer to playing for the first time since about March.

Can we PLEASE get a new medical staff? These last few years worth of injuries have been disgusting, and I'm not even talking about 1-2 week injuries. The bulk of our injuries have been the 10-12-season kind of injuries, and if the players do come back they're not even a shell of themselves. It's beyond a joke at this point.

Not sure where this list came from. The AFL site shows six TBCs. And Duggan listed as ‘knee TBC’. But LEdwards not listed.
????????????????

It came from the club’s release in the last half hour.

Sheed, Gaff, Yeo, Shuey and Kelly with West and Clark with the massive question mark of continuity could make at least our midfield more competitive. Could see one of Joyce or Allen made inactive for the MSD place it would create. Strnadica and Williams and Yeo are pure guesswork at this point.
