Well done JK for a great career. One of the very very few Eagles players I didnt despise.
Champion player.
Without JK, we should thump them next week. Funnier things have happened, but we should not be winning next week by anything less than 30 points.

This weekend taught me if Roy is as good as his brothers (Ash Johnson and Shane McAdam) he is going to be worth the development time.

Finally a WC supporter I can respect.

Just walked out of the box with John Castrilli and told Nisbett to go * himself. Won't be in that box again.

Funny.
Hang on, who is John Castrilli, and which legend told Nisbett to go * himself?

We might need Carlton to beat Melbourne or the Pies for top 4. But on the other hand it would be pretty funny to see them implode and miss the 8 and for Cerra not to play finals while we do.
I’m all aboard the Carlton bandwagon for next week.
Teams winning to help our position massively outweighs any pleasure I might get in deathriding another side, even if it’s the eagles or Carlton.
We need Carlton to front up next week and beat the Dees.
Then if we win our two games we definitely finish ahead of Melbourne.
Then we just need one of Sydney or brisbane to drop a game.

Castrilli is an ex politician from the Bunbury region, check out the first page of the autopsy thread. I’m pretty sure the poster is from Bunbury as well.

I think a few of their supporters want a broom through the place starting with that arseh*le.

So many permutations. Let’s assume we win our last 2 games (I know I know) but let’s assume we do.

It’s almost harder for us to miss the top 4 then not.

The games that matter in order:
1) Saints v Lions - Friday night. Saints season on the line. 5 day break for Lions. We don’t need Saints to win but they’re a chance.

2) Melb v Carlton - This is a sweet free hit for Freo supporters. Melb win and we watch Carlton implode in front of our eyes. Blues win and we jump Demons.

3) Swans v Pies - Another Freo supporter free hit. Either team losing opens chance for them to drop out of 4 and allow Freo a window.

Any 2 winners from Saints, Blues, Pies and we’re in the 4 entering round 23.

Worst outcome is wins to Lions, Melb and Swans. But it provides opportunities in round 23.

Round 23 games of importance:
4) Lions v Melbourne - huge game with the winner just about assuring them top 4 and loser almost certain to miss top 4. One of them must lose, so either way Freo must finish above one of them.

5) Carlton v Pies - another huge game. We will want Carlton to win… unless we are already in the top 4 in which case I’d love to see Carlton lose and possibly miss finals.

6) Saints v Swans - massive top 4 and making 8 game. We will probably want Saints to win.

So, after all of that we have many ways to make top 4. Pies lose 2 and any of Lions, Demons, Swans lose 1 OR any 2 of Lions, Demons, Swans lose 1.

The fact Lions play Brisbane and Swans play Magpies means we only need one other result to fall out way from a bunch of 50-50 games.

Righto. Having applied further mathematical analysis.

There’s ONE absolutely massive game that would mean we CANNOT miss top 4, provided we win both of our games.

That game is…

Swans v Pies. If Pies win next weekend v Swans then we CANNOT miss the top 4. Literally no way we can miss.

We can make it a variety of other ways BUT that is the game to assure us top 4.
