I just rewatched Wardlaw's highlights. If North get him and another gun with pick 3 they are way ahead. He looks like a better kicking Petracca. I wish we were getting him.

He looks pretty good hey. Explosive, strong and used the ball well. Seems to be one of those players that has drive and a want for the contest.

Steele, Crouch, windhager, owens, Gresh, Sinclair and wardlaw would be a dynamic and strong midfield.

It would be but seriously dreaming. Unless we go to pick 2 I can’t see it.

We just have to make sure they get Hunter Clark instead of that pick 3.

Hunter has always been a North player, he just never knew it. The slightly balding scalp, the ratty hairband and refusal to cut his hair, the malnourished look from the prominent front teeth and junkie's facial structure to the smoker's frame and lack of tank.

He's the archetypal pale Shinboner just as Mason Wood is the archetypal Saint with his bayside looks.
This is the most bigfooty of bigfooty posts. If I could sum up bigfooty to anyone who’s not on it I’d show them this

Say we get pick three, will wardlaw still be around? I watched Tsatas highlights, confused if they were his Clanger highlights or…? Sheezel looks like he has X factor and a great skill set. I also see a bit of jack billings in him when he gets the ball and gets rid of it with out taking contact. Given his frame is small probably a bit hard for him to do, but can he grow into that player.

With our pick 45, James Van Es, 195cm-96kg, could be that KPD that we need.
Darcy Jones 173cm, wing/def. could be around our pick 32, elite speed who kicks with composure & defensive pressure is solid-combine results were elite.
Lachlan Cowan- 188cm-85kg, strong med. def./mid. long kick with good speed, could be gettable at our pick 27
Steely Green 178cm, def. mid. footballers\footballer, versatile. Rookie chance
Seth Campbell 182cm- sml. forw. similar traits to Dan Butler, Rookie chance
Jovan Petric 196cm-89kg mobile key forw./ruck, good speed & agility. Rookie chance

Petric has something about him.

I'd like Ethan Phillips as a KPB and a small forward, maybe a Konstanty, Noah Long, Jaiden Magor type.

Gallagher, Binns and D'Aloia as cheapies.

I'm a bit worried that the Saints might not pick Cam Mackenzie and instead go for Jeff Buttslinger.

There was some comment somewhere recently about Cordy coming in to help nurture our baby defenders but we don't have any baby defenders apart from Oscar Adams so who the hell are we talking about?

Got a feeling our listmaster Gags is eschewing a blue chip midfielder and going for the best key Defender in the top 10 which would absolutely kill me.

There is a fair chance only one will he available at our pick so we probably won't have the choice

I think the chance of us not taking CMac if he’s there is close to O

Time to get excited about the draft

I think we will be trying to trade up but it might be hard to do

Wouldn't be surprised at all if we offered up next years first and 9 for 4 and 22

Either that or we will be trying hard to get our 2nd rounders higher

I really like Phillipou if he makes it to 9 though

One of the youngest of the draft crop. Looks a complete player.
