He has a very simple, relaxed kicking action and is apparently a dead-eye... he may be better developed up forward.

Not that insightful.

Played the straight bat to the questions about just picking the local and the Joel Selwood comparisons with Clark.

Didn't sound like he was over enthused about Phoenix. Said it was a needs based pick basically.

Then they asked him about the low number of picks overall and he said we took 3 in the trade and two tonight, add Mullin and the other rookies and we are turning over 10 players which is standard.

I mean I like him a lot...but shifter is the most positive person in the AFL, haha - so it's not saying much given he likes basically every kid (which is kinda refreshing even if it's off the mark, in this day and age of negative media)

We pre select both clohesy (cat b) and osca (cat a) as rookies before the draft tomorrow so no team can take them.

About 8-10 years ago approx or maybe longer - when Paul Salmon was still in the media

And he was on with Sheahan during the draft - and Salmon was laughing and having a half hearted go - at Shifter - how he talks up every single one of those draftees as world beaters

We have 2 cat a rookie picks after osca (3 cat a spots avail) with mullin and clohesy cat bs.

I was hoping lemmey would slide to 52 and he almost did but foster is a good spec tall.

As for our 2 picks tomorrow we need a kpd history with fothergill round would say phillips goes before our 1st rookie pick but if hes there id take him. If hes gone id take the next best kpd.
Our 2nd pick is probably best avail or maybe a spec ruck. If it was best avail im a rap for hagan im surprised hes still available.
