I liked Gehrig for us, particularly down back bursting forward.

He had no signs of becoming the G train beast back then, his transformation was crazy.

Staker, Masten were whipping boys for sure.

Lewie was bood by all eastern state crowds , gf day was nothing different from what happened every time he got the ball when over there.

Just like in the 2017 EF v Port when it was tied late, what does Eric Mackenzie do? Trip over his own feet, go to ground and the ball goes out of bounds. Terrible.

I still prefer our 2017 trade with Gold Coast.

Pick 50 (Brayden Crossley - Academy selection) plus F1st (22 - eventually drafted Xavier O'Halloran)

For

21 (Allen), 26 (Ryan), 37 (Petrucelle) + pick 24 in 2018 (which we turned into 27+32 and took Xon and Foley)

I know. Same with Langdon and Sumich often too.

But Langdon and Lewis are the only ones I've heard booed getting their medals was the point I was making.

Funny we nailed the picks we traded in (jury still out on Petch I guess, but I'm a fan), and stuffed the picks we always had (Brander, Ainsworth).

Lol - watching that, it was Water's smothered handball followed by Cousin's missed tackle that let Sydney get it into their F50. Darren Glass saved the day by taking it over the line.

I'm not pissy about him leaving. At the time on here I often made the point that I'd rather have people who want to play at WCE than people who want to leave.

I just don't find him interesting/inspiring to listen to.

Same with Matty Lloyd. Gun FF but droney zombie voice.

It's like the Darling mark v Coll.. What if he goaled but the Pies went straight out the middle twice after. Was still 2 mins left

Had he marked, then missed the shot then definitely would have been danger.

But had he marked it, taken his ~30 seconds and kicked the goal we would have been 10 points up with +/- a few seconds off a minute to play. Almost certainly game over.

Trying to remember who the 4 guys who kicked points for us were late in that last quarter. Masten, Ryan.... not sure on the other 2.
