Are you saying they are not reality?

US Flag + Crow = AC

😜

Your bird looks more like a Raven to me, tbh...

And just so everyone knows, I am NOT Jaire Alexander. A white version of, quite possibly, but not THE Jaire, so please do not ask for autographs of the games best CB.

Apparently only two teams had a negative score for Strength Coaches, and the Ravens score was clearly the worst. I still have no idea how they kept him as long as they did

WTF only 6 months for this should of been 6 years+

I watched that "incident" when the news came out, it's a very tough watch for anyone who hasn't, don't recommend it.

The Athletic's Nate Taylor writes Chiefs DT Chris Jones wants an extension "that will make him at least the second-highest player at his position."

In other words, he wants to be paid at or near the level of Aaron Donald after having an NFL DPOY-caliber season. Jones' contract looks like it will be the first domino to fall before Kansas City tries to get deals done with Frank Clark and Orlando Brown this offseason. It's certainly plausible that the Chiefs pull a Tyreek Hill again with the contract demands and shop Jones, but there's nothing we've read yet that suggests that. Jones is still an unabashed game-wrecker on defense and turns 29 in July, it would be extremely hard for the Chiefs to replace him.

Alvin Kamara pleaded "not guilty" during his arraignment on charges of conspiracy to commit battery and battery resulting in substantial bodily harm.

The trial is expected to start on July 31. That is during training camp, which is not ideal for Kamara's hopes of playing this season. Kamara's status will remain up in the air until we get a settlement and/or the legal (and extralegal NFL) process plays out. His fantasy value will be hard to predict until we get a clearer idea of how this will impact his status. This feels like it will be one of the bigger conundrums to wrap our heads around this offseason.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Jaguars are "expected" to franchise tag Evan Engram.

The tight end franchise tag is worth roughly $11.3 million. This would give the Jaguars some measure of certainty at a position where their top three players by snap count last year are all free agents. Engram and the Jaguars have been talking and it's still possible that Engram signs a contract off the franchise tag. Jacksonville can probably afford to carry the tag amount if they have to based on how many players they've restructured already this offseason.

Bucs released TE Cameron Brate.

This was expected with Brate due a $5 million cap hit. Brate has been linked to retirement coming off an injury-shortened 2022 that sidelined him with a concussion and neck injury. Fourth-round TE Cade Otton started over Brate as a rookie and is in line for everydown snaps with Brate gone. Brate's release saves Tampa $2 million in cap space. The Bucs can save $4 million if they designate Brate a post-June cut.

Chiefs GM Brett Veach said the team is in talks to extend OL Orlando Brown.

Brown played last year under the franchise tag after the Chiefs couldn't reach a long-term deal. The sides should have a better chance of getting something done now that Brown has an agent. Brown turned down a six-year, $139 million deal with a $30 million signing bonus last offseason. Kansas City is expected to franchise Brown a second time if he's not extended before Tuesday's deadline.

The Packers dead money charge would jump from $40 million this year to $60 million if they move on from QB Aaron Rodgers next offseason.

The Packers would need to restructure Rodgers if he returns. Green Bay's contract with Rodgers was made to be trade friendly, giving them an option clause that can be exercised before the start of the year. With Jordan Love in the final year of his rookie deal and a massive 2024 dead cap charge, a Rodgers trade this offseason is the most likely outcome. Rodgers returning in 2023 may force the Packers to trade Love.

Giants GM Joe Schoen said the team isn't close on an extension for QB Daniel Jones.

"You're starting to feel the time crunch. Wish we were a little closer on a deal than what we are right now. But again, there's still time." The Giants met with Jones' agents at the Combine and hope to get something done before Tuesday's franchise tag deadline. Jones is asking for $45 million per year while the Giants want to keep him on a deal closer to $35 million. The Giants plan to tag Jones if he's not extended before Tuesday, likely sending free agent RB Saquon Barkley to the open market.

Former Packers DL Letroy Guion was sentenced to one year in jail after pleading no contest to domestic violence.

The aggravated battery charge stemmed from an incident at his residence last fall. Guion will also serve three years' probation and complete a court mandated domestic violence intervention program. Guion last played for the Packers in 2016 and started 112 regular season games across nine professional seasons.
