Sharman should be considered as our best forward replacement for King , Cordy was only picked up as a spare tall defender.
Cordy's last 6 season's he has kicked 4 goals , his best was 8 goals in 2016 so reinventing him into a forward is a move I didn't see coming.

That's a bad sign. He was playing very attacking last week running off his man and playing a more Sinclair style role. Perhaps without the defensive side to his game though.

He wasn't impressive but he wasn't terrible either. You can only surmise that he failed to keep the zone intact or something.

It is also possible he is still reaching full fitness/form from that injury so we'd prefer he gets a full game which he will get at Sandy.

Comparatively, someone like Highmore gets on the extended bench today but is likely to only play a half.

You have to be cautious with players who are way off the pace, you don't want to completely destroy their confidence, anyway he's on the IC so he'll get a run. He may surprise.

The wingers job is to almost be an additional defender now.

Plus we have potentially really attacking half backs - so it’s all really interchangeable

Phillipou as a small forward works for me. Not so small, but we don't need him to crawl down a rabbit hold.
