Yeah, lets just chuck Munkara etc in the seniors.

Then when we are losing by 100 points, sack Scott!!! That is how is goes around here, isn't it?

He is playing most of the kids that are ready IMO.

There’s a difference between playing Munkara, and dropping a kid who has 27 stats last week or playing a kid who’d quite easily be our most in form forward on the list and has kicked 9 or 10 the last two weeks in the VFL.

As I said before. Your argument is slightly out of alignment. Anyway BZT coming back has cost Mass his spot in the back half.
Voss does not really play KPF. For him to play you either drop Jones and abandon the lead up role in the side or you are not playing Stringer or Perkins in the forward line.
I would be happy to see Perkins play wing in front of Heppell and see Voss get a go but the in the real world the likes of Heppell have some credit in the bank and the backing of their team mates for longer than us on the outside back him.

You are asking this before the game?

That's so ******* stupid that I love it. Outstanding.
What? Team selection can't be questioned before a game?

My post has no indication on what I expect the result of today to be.

A win, or loss doesn't change the glaring issue regarding the selection of Heppell.

It either highlights it. Or hides it.

Until Heppell either gains some form, or is dropped for his lack of form then yes, the question can be asked regardless of what timeframe suits you.

All the haters must be rapidly about facing their approval of Scott now he’s made Heppell the sub right?
Whatever the way this is done.

  • If its a legit change.
  • Or a way to quietly remove Heppell from the team.

Don't care, the right result was achieved.

Cool post. Was there any point to this? Or are you just seeking attention?

I made a topic of discussion, and you come back with a patronising response.

If you don't agree with me fine. Have an open discussion. But don't waste my time with your smartass reply and then double down on it when I call you out on it.

Yes, I got the result I wanted, shouldn't of had to happen so late. But it happened now so onwards and upwards.

A step in the right direction.

Scott doesn’t have a great poker face during games, which we know from all the memes at Norf. It’s great. Our players do something stupid and they flash to him where he has that angry / bewildered “what in * was that?” look on his face.

Lolz… try 20 years of it Bradley 🤣
His response after Menzie's set shot was, unfortunately, gold.

It is totally fascinating to me seeing him trying to repress old Brad. It’s strangely therapeutic to me when we are on the verge of Essingtoning it up and the camera pans on his face. It has an odd calming influence on me.

Take it to the Allan Scott thread.

The main point I was trying to get across was to just play the guys in form. Seniority isn’t always the answer.

Like if/when they think Tippa is ready, they may have to bring him in for Davey. Davey’s been fine - and I think in 2 or 3 years could be really good. But if Tippa kicks 4 next week, that’s probably the change the following week (I personally think Menzie’s been a bit better).

I get Voss might not exactly be a KPF - but our change this week ended up being Massimo for BZT and Heppell for Phillips. Doesn’t always have to be like for like.

You’ve still gotta have room for the player though, we were a KPD short so BZT came straight back in, and Langford was playing defence still not forward so had some minutes on offer there.

Weideman out could make room for Voss, or could mean Langford plays forward and we being in someone else entirely

It does have to be similar to the structure you are trying to teach. Mass got in against the Saints as they had 1 KPF. BZK comes back because the Giants have a different set up. Voss may get in with the Weideman injury.
