Good quarter overall. Played the conditions well.

Wines and Boak having their best quarters for the year. Butters and Duursma playing tough and hard too and carrying on from last week. The work rate of Dixon and hastling and tackling of McEntee (exceptional), SPP, DBJ and Rioli ensured we get forward 50 scoring opportunities.

Backs all holding up well. Bergman, Aliir, McKenzie (apart from that stupid free) and Houston especially.

Lycett’s trying but he’s just so limited. Not only can he not mark, he barely competes in the air and when he does it’s to concede daft holding frees. What we’d give to have a ruck who marks around the ground.

Too quiet for mine: JHF - needs to show more intent especially when opposed to Libba and Bont. Rozee. Marshall - two nice things but so low on confidence at the moment.
