Last year Teakle rucked against Essendon at Adelaide Oval and in the return game at the MCG Andrew Phillips had 33 hitouts to Finlayson's 7 and nearly won them the game at the end when Finlayson wouldn't compete at the bounce. That was the bizarre Visentini debut game.

Lol, I'm not saying he must be picked, or going to war on it. I'm just saying there was talk of him getting smashed as 2nd ruck Vs Essendons rucks, but last time he went up against Draper he hammered him. It isn't a guarantee it'll happen again, it's just a fact.

I didn't remember the game at all, I looked back at 2023 but didn't think it was there because the ruck match ups in those games were memorable for all sorts of reasons. Draper did have 33 hit outs to 6 in that game, but Jez killed it around the ground.

Anyway he's getting another chance, hope he takes it.

The things I am interested in watching with the team are:

The midfield without Wines who is not as impactful as the Four Amigos
Lachie Jones and how he handles the tongs
How our 2nd ruck will hold up against two main Essendon rucks
What Georgiades brings to the forward line
Can Bergman make a bigger impact on the wing
Can Mead or one of the lesser lights stand up
Still interested in the tall backs but more confident of their games

Essendon have a lot of B grade quality to their team. I don't see a star at all.

We should win this one on cruise control.
