He got better as the game went on...6 intercept possessions and 5 score involvements, with his 19 disposals. He definitely played his part.

He was a more than adequate replacement and a few more games like that and he may pinch a spot in our 23. The more he believes he belongs the better he will play. He will calm down and make less rushed decisions. He knows what he is capable of in a high stakes game so he can only get better.

I liked how when Maynard messed a kick up that resulted in a goal he had Markov there to lighten the mood for him. I reckon he mght have said "bruv welcome to my world"
