I put the Adams situation on the table post trade period last year and I think he’d want to find another gear over the next few weeks. To this point of the year he’s offering more than you’d expect from Macrae or Carmichael, but that’s before Lipinski returns. If either of the other two force their way in and impress things will get tight. One things for sure Adams is 100% second banana to Mitchell in a small inside mid capacity.

Krueger would barely be any fitter than cox anyway. Played one VFL game after minimal training then two AFL games where he barely lasted a quarter, nursed through training due to injuries, and got sick as well and missed training.

If cox is cleared by the docs he should play. Park him at full forward and let Frampton take the bulk of the ruck duties for a few games with cox second ruck . We need to be ready to sub cox out when he runs out of steam

Reckon playing Cox for 60% of the game then bringing on the sub would work well. Same with Kreuger I guess.

Part of the problem is not being the number 1 extractor anymore, he's being asked to expand his role, which was going ok at the start of the year when he was hitting the scoreboard by the way, but it requires improved disposal and that's where he'll live or die

Yep a tall to replace a tallish to replace a tall. It’s all about the structure.

Totally agree on WHE. His match saving aerial spoil last week followed by his match winning handball receive 70 metres downfield just seconds later and perfectly weighted kick to Sidebottom have gone almost unrecognised. But I digress.

WHE cops it from most in here and he never gets the praise when he deserves it that was a 100 metre effort, I'm glad the club appreciate it.

We would rather talk up blokes like Krueger.

I like my bananas two at a time.

anyone scale GIF

He has been awful since the Richmond game.

I love Tay but the criticism is fair, needs to lift and stop burning better users running past.
Tay's passing has always been heart in the mouth stuff. I doubt it will change that much at this stage in his career. He will have better games, he offers a lot more than simply a link player.

We saw the best evidence of why WHE gets pick week in, week out, despite poster's opinions to the contrary.

While you would rather talk shit about a guy like Kreuger?
Look, I get that he hasn’t done much of anything to be talked up to this point, but at the same time, he’s been so god damn unlucky with injuries that he hasn’t had any sustained run to prove whether or not he’s actually any good either, so I think your earlier post saying he’s “no good” is pretty unfair on him.

Not saying we will or anything, but what about Kreuger as sub coming on for Cox? The clubs use of the sub has been different at times and perhaps not in a good way. I just wouldn’t rule it out as an option.

I don’t think he appears overly happy with the reduced midfield minutes
Pining for his mate Bucks I suppose

Reckon you’re making up a story out of nothing there.

Mitchell is also well down in 2023 on his career average possessions. They are there to win games, not accumulate kicks.

For all that work he will get credited with one uncontested possession. Stats never tell the full story
+ an uncontested mark and a spoil. I have to admit the edit from the media department was horrible on Wilbur, IMO. All it showed me was a guy in perfect position at a stoppage who ball watched and then saved his bacon with the miraculous spoil. They should have shown the spoil and then cut to his power running from the stoppage. That’s why he gets picked each week.
