Might've jumped the gun, sorry. Saw a media headline combined with report (Ross) Lyon?? adamant that Andy is carrying injury. Read the West training report now & it says he trained away from main group & with knee strapping.

I just hope whatever it is, Andy is being managed properly. Shudder to think of the team without him against Lions but his welfare over longer term is more important.

Chapman hamstring. Lol.
* this season anyway.
I must say Chappy is becoming very injury prone for a young guy. Has had several soft tissue issues in his short time here

So much soft tissue for a young bloke.
Makes me wonder if the idea of ever moving him to an inside-mid / wing is a good idea.

Garry Lyon (not Ross). Emphatically said he knew Brayshaw was carrying an injury during On The Couch this week. They were discussing reasons why we were 18th for ground ball gets.

Ras and Johno are pretty good at ground ball gets! Unleash them in the centre.

Posters in another thread think it's likely to give us an extra msd pick but don't think we'll necessarily use the pick unless someone we are super into is still there

ROUND 10 INJURY LIST
Josh Corbett (concussion) – test
Heath Chapman (hamstring) – 5-7 weeks
Matt Taberner (back) - TBA

Key forward Josh Corbett is a test to return to football this weekend, according to High Performance Manager Phil Merriman.

Corbett did not play at either AFL or WAFL level over the weekend after entering the concussion protocols following a head knock playing for Peel the week prior.

Meanwhile, Travis Colyer made a successful return via Peel at the weekend, featuring in the Thunder’s 89-point win over West Coast.

Colyer tallied 12 disposals, five marks, two tackles and kicked a goal on managed minutes in Mandurah on Saturday.

Merriman provided an update on Colyer in the Perth Radiological Clinic injury update ahead of Walyalup’s round 10 clash with Geelong.

"Trav has pulled up well, he had a successful return and hit his minutes,” Merriman said.

“He has got his usual sore spots after playing his first game of football in a number of weeks.”

Merriman also indicated that Heath Chapman (hamstring) and Matt Taberner (back) were progressing well in their rehabilitations.

“Both Heath and Matt have a significant strength focus in the gym at the moment and they have returned to running on-field,” Merriman said.
