Jackson took about 10 steps at pace and then got tackled and didn’t travel far after that … was it more than 15m … most likely but I’ve seen worse let go … and it is hard to describe just how much I enjoyed that goal.
Mainly because it just screamed self belief in his ability. I was hoping his last weeks breakout game could be the start of a new Jackson for us. Exciting stuff for us Freo supporters.

Contest and ground ball been much better. Forward half efficiency went from dog shite in first quarter to superb in second quarter.
We should be further in front but Amiss of all people missed two sitters.
Oh yeah and Jackson has gone beast mode again.

Amiss nearly needs to have two set shot routines: one for close in and one for further out. He has zero momentum behind his current routine, which would be fine if he was a booming kick.
