The touches isn’t a surprise as the dogs flick it around a lot and we are quite direct. The clearances though has been our telltale sign for a long time - if we loses that we lose the game.

This is why it’s different this year. We have multiple ways to win now.

But Lycett won the hit outs convincingly. The HO’s to advantage would be interesting

The Bulldogs played better for larger periods of the game, but some individual brilliance & swifter ball movement got us over the line.

Amazing game by Lycett to restrict English for the majority of the game.

A fair few players below their best, including Houston, Bergman & SPP.

Sinn is miles off it ATM, looked completely gassed half way through the first quarter with hands on hips & sucking in the big ones. Reminded me of Dylan Williams in his first two years, but look where he is now.

Just need to beat Geelong next week and then reassess the plans at the bye.

We have a huge 16 day bye break. If we can get there at 12-2, and get fresh, we're seriously primed for a huge assault on the back end of the year.

Next week is now insanely critical in our season IMO.
