Now I know that Robbo on AFL 360 is the man we all love to hate/deride.
But his question to Ben from the Collingwood wheelchair team tonight was fantastic. He simply asked “when did you stop feeling sorry for yourself and decided to make the best of it”.
This is a question most people avoid when talking to a person who has found themselves in Ben’s situation.
It showed respect to Ben and treated him like the adult he is.
Great interview.
Robbo should ask himself the same question

Looking a fair way ahead and lots can change obviously but if we hold on to a top 2 spot, who would you prefer to play in the first final?

Quality question. Personally I want home state adavantage in the PF and GF. The best way for that to happen is if Port play play Brisbane in the QF.

So we end up top and play fourth, hopefully Melbourne drop out and we draw a QF Easybeat like stkilda or Essendon

Wouldn’t you love Bucks the forward in the side now

How good to see a couple of the big stars of the black and white again. Really should have won a couple of flags with that talent on the park.
Interesting watching that selection of goals. Back in the day the holding the ball decision he got was a rarity. And the last one would be paid against him today because of the jumper pull, which was more obvious than the hand on his jumper.
Best thing about watching those? No around the corner set shots!

I’m extremely upset that today we see the demise of yet another indigenous species, unique to Australia.
This has gone on far too long and we, as a community, need to take action.
Rise up against those who will strip away what it means to be Australian!

For those who have the stomach to see just what we have lost, scroll down, but be warned it’s not a pretty sight.

Here is a recent picture of this indigenous species;

And here it is with nothing left but its skin….

Hi All, apologies for the perhaps silly question it's been years since i've been to the MCG. was thinking on taking the kids today, are we still allowed to take in kids drink bottles ?

Water bottles get through sometimes - and sometimes not. It’s hit and miss. Maybe the worst that could happen is you have to empty the contents out. But I haven’t seen that happen in a long time.

Be brave and take them. And I hope your kids have a great day. Free entry is a lovely gesture.

Yes, provided they’re plastic - no glass or metal allowed. But having said that, in practice metal is not heavily policed.

There's a huge downside to living in a country where safety is valued ahead of anything else!
Few years ago I went to an nfl game in the states.
You could only take transparent bags into the ground. Kind of like smaller versions of the bags you get doonas and electric blankets in.
People had these bags with edge piping in team colours.

At least it made bag inspection at the entry gates quick.
And each entry gate was named after a sponsor.

Had a chilli dog inside.
Very disappointing experience.
Like a hot dog with ordinary Heinz canned chilli spooned on top.

In many other ways the States are much less safety regulated than here. No alcohol and drug buses or outrageously high fines like we 'enjoy'. I say enjoy, because that's what Australians in general seem to want - a government and police force that maintains strict control over their lives and at a high cost. Mind you because of our lack of guns, we are treated more civilly by police when we are stopped for a traffic infringement.

You'd think you'd get a decent chilli dog in the states!

Good food at Thai sporting events mate. Restaurant grade meals in plastic containers.
Food cooked on site. Affordable as well.
