He very well might not have been concussed. He was just as useless after the head bump as he was before. But you're exactly right, that's not the point. The point is he wasn't assessed. Port just keep trying to twist their words to get around that most pertinent point.

Their whole defence is "Can't be concussed if you don't fail the test."
"But he didn't do the test."
"Correct, he never failed the test."

Doctor on MMM breakfast this morning said given the way both players fell & appeared to have blacked out, it is very unlikely both were not concussed... but symptoms are not always obvious in testing.

I never truly grasped his greatness until I saw him play live for the first time at Adelaide Oval. When you actually see his size in real life it makes the things he does look even more mind blowing. Absolute freak.

Also just watched that goal again in the video. How's the absolute paddock we left them to operate in? Massive hole where Franklin led, and another massive one 40m out directly in front.

Have to wonder at what point in Aliir's life will he look at what has happened and realise the risk they put him in. That they chose, knowingly, to put his future health at risk to win 1 game of football.

Its great to beat them when we recognise we have a way to go in the midfield. They have prioritised their midfield over all else and are now looking to fill holes with trade ins. Had they had a couple of decent KPD's and a quality ruck, it might have made things different on the weekend. They may snare Grundy and if they get Ratugolea and Zerk Thatcher, it will help them.

BUT - we were without Rankine who tore them a ew one in the 1st showdown and Rachele who is going to be a star, Butts goes down mid game and we are without our best defender, so lots to like at our end if we can really grab an A grade mid or 2
