While I just said it’s obvious they wanted to wait to make sure they were able to win finals a big part of me does think Ken had a 2yr extension for making it but they didn’t want to reveal

Would make sense with the early timeline of wait til august to discuss (becomes apparent if made it but never was going to reveal their performance IN the finals)

He has had it in his contracts since 2017. Legally binding clauses that he gets extended based on making Finals.


Kurt Tippet has the same manager, we all know he loves legally binding contracts....



Kochie basically said this by setting the August deadline.




Josh Carr needs to be a good little boy and help Ken keep getting extended, untill he retires around 2030.

Said that Port over rely on Butters, Rozee, JHF, SPP and Aliir to win them games.

They have massive holes in their list and their back line is a massive liability and rates their squad as the worst of the 6 teams left.

Also slammed them for chasing Ratugolea and said that they need a lock down defender and doesn't understand why they're chasing another intercept defender when they already have Aliir.

Finished by saying that Port will have to go down and build through the draft in order to build up to be a premiership contender

They just aren’t winning a flag with their current forward line setup, it’s not top 8 standard, let alone top 4. Doesn’t matter how good your midfield is, just ask the Crows 05/06 teams.

Their defense has been horrible for a while, absolutely no depth and seemingly no actual key defenders since they’ve given up on Clurey. McKenzie is not a key defender and never has been, how have they not moved on from him? Esava and BZT are not key defenders either and are not providing any sort of list improvement, it just gives them more of what they have and seem like signings to appear like they’re trying to improve the list. Grundy is better than Lycett, but Grundy also hasn’t been at his best for 2 years and has turned 30.

In regards to this whole Oppenheimer thing and Kenny hasn't seen it.

3 hours, the dialogue within that movie and complex themes it would probably be a bit beyond Kenny anyway.

I just cant get past the collective delusion that, if they just had a decent coach, their list would make them premiership certainties. Midfield aside, which is very good, they have holes everywhere...especially in the key position stakes....
