As I said at the time. Taking Hill Howard and others instead of drafting our own was absolutely the time we should have been doing what we need to do still. Who rebuilds upside down by trying to draft after you build a side full of average middling talent?

Watching a few players try but not really try to get to a stationary oppo player waiting to mark, it makes me wonder if they've been coached not to get exposed.

But other than that, maybe just a general failure to address the leadership and mood in the team, because they look like I used to when I had to go and do PE in the rain when I was a schoolboy, rather than pro athletes being paid to play a game they supposedly love and were once good at.
