Isaac Heeney

Isaac Heeney is a crowd favourite and one of the best young players in the competition. The QBE Sydney Swans Academy graduate won the 2018 AFL Mark of the Year award, was selected in the AFL Players’ Association’s 22Under22 team in two of his eligible four years and played his 100th senior game in 2019. Heeney can be used in the midfield, forward line – where he booted four goals in star teammate Lance Franklin’s absence in Round 20 last year – or as a loose man in defence.

Isaac Heeney
DOB: 05 May 1996
DEBUT: 2015
DRAFT: #18, 2014 National Draft
RECRUITED FROM: Cardiff (NSW)

My understanding -

Lawyers do the research, provide arguments , precedents and potential penalties.

Counsel present the argument, detail the REASONS for appeal, convince the Court of the errors and provide the alternative scenario.

Swans KC alternative scenario was ‘he’s a good guy’.

I mean SHOOT ME, PLEASE!!

Good!
Now let’s move on & hope it happens to Cripps or Daicos in the prelim.
See how they wriggle out of that.
Only one thing to do now. Forget the incident, forget ****ing Brownlow and once again being shafted by the corrupt governing body. Give the corrupt governing body the shafting of their ****ing lives by steeling ourselves and winning the ****ing flag.

They'll find a way to stop us. Umpiring, biased media, rubbing out players, stripping us of picks etc.

Media dont have us going at 40 tackles and 150 pressure rating tho :p

The rest tho is spot on Wolfy
No I don’t think John Ralph would have laid a tackle in his life and as for Slobbo well he would have been gasping for air before he hit the top of the players race. Being serious though those numbers do need a sharp increase if we are to get back to our best. This week might be a good time to get back on the horse.

What a fxcking joke!!

Here’s a pic of our legal team coming out of the appeal hearing.
AFL were hell bent on upholding this, would not matter who represented us.

Media have a huge say in everything in this game. Impact umpiring, suspensions, sacking coaches you name it. Scum tbh.
Which is why it pisses me off when people say the usual, "forget about the media, let's fly under the radar." Modern afl doesn't work that way. Media can heavily influence the outcomes of games.

Don’t want to go over old ground but the media were the puppeteers in the 2016 GF spinning the fairytale narratives all week leading in and it was officiated accordingly. So Yes You are Spot on the media heavily influence AFL Results.
