Since 2021, however, we’ve only beaten them once from five attempts meaning of their 12 total wins from 2021 to now, we’ve been the opposition four times

has kicked 22 (plus just 5 behinds) of North’s 53 goals at an average of 4.4 goals per game. His worst return was 2.2 in our only win. In their wins he’s kicked 3.0, 6.3, 6.0 and 5.0

We’re the only side he averages more than 3 goals per game against and that’s after he’d only kicked two goals total in his first two games against us

Feel like McGovern as our only KPD will have to take responsibility for Larkey as he’s been a massive PITA for us and a key reason for their wins

North aren’t far off full strength with Wardlaw their main out, and to a lesser extent Fisher and Logue. Not sure if Stephenson and CCJ being out is better or worse for them, although I do recall Stephenson tearing us a new one in at least one of those losses

To be fair, Barrass and Harry Edwards are the only two players from our injury list who’d make a significant difference to our side. (As would Ling and Hewett but they’ve both been broken for most/all of the season)

This is probably our last remotely realistic chance of a win this year and if we do win, it’ll give us 5 for the year which is as many as 2022/23 combined. A small, but significant sign of improvement

It will also lock us in for a 16th place finish and consign North to their fifth consecutive bottom 2 season. A loss however might see North overtake us on percentage and into 16th

In our last 5 games vs. Roos, we seem to have lost by 1-2 goals in all of them.
Schofield has a touch of Woosha about him, have a sneaky feeling we might snatch this?
Can they stick to the process and not be flattened by a lack of 30-50k vocal WC fans or the long trip?
I like the balance of this team and last week the youth stood up and delivered.
TB will be cherry ripe for Carlton and Cats.
If they win, Schofield's odds would shorten for the top job you'd think?

Surely one of the Williams rests down back rather than up forward in their off-ruck minutes to help bolster the defence.

Interested to see how this one goes anyway.

If it was at Optus we'd win, just not sure which Eagles team will show up but surely they want to continue the pressure momentum and try and capture that ability to fight for 4 quarters going into the off season.
