I just stated the fact he has played a bunch of bottom 10 defenses [which might be the difference between his numbers and Henry at the end of the year]. But you are ready to crown him right now anyway so no point even going on.
If the MVP was a fair vote it would be between Barkley, Henry and Allen. But its not its weighted towards the QB's

Im not playing the victim, its just well known that you cry "they hate the eagles" all the time. and are overly protective of the eagles and take it as a personal insult every time someone is critical against them.

Oh nonsense. I've spent the last two years pouring cold water on pretty much any praise of the Eagles, often against our own fan base. I'm extremely willing to be a realist about our prospects of success. Even now, I'm not banging the table on any any success this year, or really prepared to consider we might win it.

We've disagreed three times in the last few weeks:

1. That the Eagles defence is 'good', which was as highly as I put it at the time. I wasn't even pressing for great. You argued against that. They're the top defence in the NFL statistically.

2. In response to your claim that the NFC teams are all basically equal, and all have an equal claim, and in particular that the Packers can claim to be able to beat the Lions and Eagles when they're 0-2 against them. The Eagles are almost certainly a top 2 seed; and

3. That Saquon is having a special season, a fact that every one but you who watches the NFL is prepared to acknowledge. You're the only person I've seen peddling this 'easy schedule' nonsense literally anywhere.

None of the positions that I took in those discussions has been homerish, they're consensus positions amongst basically anyone who isn't you or a Niners fan.

Have you considered that maybe, just putting it out there, you're a hater that refuses to give any credit whatsoever to the Eagles and its really really weird to be this bitter about a team with so fewer superbowls than your own?

The Jets just find new ways to lose every week. What a train wreck of a team. Probably already been discussed but ICBF looking for it, that Leonard Williams pick 6 of 92 yards has to be the longest ever for an interior DL.
The longest touchdown return by an interior defensive lineman in NFL history is 92 yards, which was achieved by Leonard Williams of the Seattle Seahawks in a game against the New York Jets:

Williams' return broke the previous record of 91 yards, set by Grant Wistrom of the St. Louis Rams in 1999. Williams' performance also included two sacks, three tackles for loss, and a blocked PAT.

What QB has played consistently better than the one with a heart of a lion?
Hes been good , far better than expectations but come on Zhi Zhi, he has started half his teams games. When do yo ever see a QB win an MVP not playing all or very close to the entire season.

He racked up a lot of fantasy points. Im still going to find a way to lose with him in my lineup in omega where im legit trying too/have a contenting roster but cant set a lineup for shit. Costing me games every week. Need GG to set my lineup for me. :moustache:

Fields has only started three games. By season's end Russ would have started 14 games...plenty of QBs have won MVP in the 14 game schedule of ye olde

Ok my bad I thought Fields started ~5 for some reason. But still, I doubt he wins it given its not a a ye olde 14 game schedule anymore.

He was a much better runner than I expected him to be when he first took off. Some good form and stride.
Highlights just how fast the NFL is. Huge men running 4.50-5.00 type speed

If only i had 7m cap room way back then :(
Ill probably end up cutting him coz I already have 3 other QBs and he will likely be the odd man out. FA Russ ready for your bids.

Still laughing at the idea our defence might be ok?

You got playoff Lamar not mvp Lamar. So still not sold it’s the best d in league like it’s being touted it’s pretty good thou needs to be tested more thou.

Still think lions put 45 pts on it comes playoffs with their oline, play calling and weapons.

For what it's worth, there's a reasonable argument that Barkley's performances against 'good' run defences (let's say top 10) are better than Henry.

Henry in four games against top 10 rush defences has broken 100 yards once. Saquon in two has done it each time.

I'm not sure we're the best in the league either, but that wasn't our argument.

From where we were to this year, massive massive improvement.

Short memory.

Assume you are referring to the playoff win against the Packers last year. Yeah it rained, but Purdy wasn't good that day....his first half contributed to the big lead the Packers had.

I'm referring to games like today or against the Browns last year when the weather underlined his physical limitations, dropping balls and not being able to pass effectively.

Worst part is Rodgers missed a wide open receiver in the endzone the play before. Legit 14 point swing.

It is an NFC East thing mate.

AD piled on the Cowboys for years no matter what we did. Now we are totally irrelevant and a joke of a team the focus just changes to another NFC East team and welcome to the club!

Some Packers fan are a special breed of hatred for whatever reasons.

But back to the topic Saquan is a gun and should be rightly in the top 3 of MVP talks with Henry to. But sadly as well we all know it is a QB award and always will be.

Eagles are killing it and hope we get a Lions V Eagles NFC championship game we nuetral fans deserve. That comment doesn’t come easily as well as i hate you guys but you have to give credit where it is due. 👍

I just saw the disgusting dirty hit on Trevor Lawrence against the Texans. That is the worst I have seen since the Pittsburgh Steelers deliberately attacked the knees of Bengals QB Carson Palmer, causing him to tear his ACL.

The only fair penalty for the hit is to strip the Texans of the win and award it to the Jaguars.

1. Yeah the eagles D is getting better. And have turned it around to being one if the better ones right now. And I wasn't expecting them to shutdown the Ravens as much as they did even with the 2 missed FGs they didn't do much in the 2nd half against you.

2. I listed the Packers because I listed the whole top of the NFC including the Vikings because the NFC I feel is even and has no standout team, but feels like whoever plays best on the day will win not necessarily the team who has the better record entering the playoffs.

3. Can you post where I have said he isn't having a special season? Because he is. Which is why I've said numerous times today he will win OPotY but because he isn't a QB unlikely to win MVP

That's been my whole point.🤯

As for being a Dallas hater. It was only because I never trusted them in playoffs. Does that mean I get to claim anti packers bias against posters here because they never were in on the Packers because we always choked in playoffs? Or ravens fans can claim the same because of thr Lamar slander because of his playoffs record?

Lions are also a dirty as f**k team. They play the eagles in the playoffs and there is a bounty on Barkley and try and send him off and make it a Hurts game.

Both teams also like to mouth off and it could get nasty.

Lions win on Friday and the NFC likely runs through Ford Field given they would need to drop 2 games to lose the #1 seed from tiebreakers
