The more senior bodies for the VFL the better as I think most of the listed players will battle next year. Can't say I have ever noticed Rantall though, was he injured last year or only good enough to get 4 games for Werribee.

Sounds like a Geelong draftee … another that would be watched for future consideration. Wasn’t there a Rantall that we were linked to in this years draft ? His brother?

yeah, Will, I don't think they're brothers though. He is part of the training squad currently though IIRC

There brothers all right. Both played together for South Warrnambool this year and were thrilled to finally play with each other.

The perceived schadenfreude at Kreuger leaving us for greener pastures and now ending up back here is a bit sad and pathetic. It's his life, and his choices to make, and he's been a pro footballer. Infinitely better than a couch bum that is most of this site.

Krueger left because he believed he was a good forward and we couldn’t fit him into our forward line. Collingwood offered him the opportunity to play forward and he did so, but constant injuries stopped him getting continuity.

I believe Collingwood gave him an extra years but their forward line had developed without him, and he is injury prone.

He backed himself and it didn’t work. Nothing wrong with that. He has swallowed his pride and come back, and presumably wants to have another go at getting an AFL contract. He certainly has the size and some skills to do so, but not if his body keeps letting him down. We could do with a cheap backup KPF.
