Sorry matey, havent had a chance to cross paths with his older bro over the last week so no new news on my end unfortuanlty. Ill stick out the feelers and see what i can grab over the next few hours.
Apparently when Hamish sat down with him today, he told him he was worried he would get picked before us. Sounds like he will be taken by us if he is still on the board.
He has been in contact with a few clubs, but he is only meeting with Adelaide and GWS.

Anyone know much about this young fella? Ive got very good word that hes been interviewed multiple times by Adelaide, and has just had a sit down interview with them.
Smells like a Hamish special, maybe...
Sloane was one of the years most improved players up until he got hurt... was a beast on the inside. He aint quite done yet.

He has such a weapon in his ability to burst through and out of packs and stoppages!! Caught some great examples in the first half of last night games. Cant wait to see more of this man bull play.
I agree with your summary about him wanting deep entries, but i feel bombing long in hope and going deep to the correct contest/area are very different things. Im happy to go deep when done right. Thats how i have interpreted him anyhow.
We just suck at being able to do that.
We panic, look at...
Nickys has openly spoken about the long bombs in some of the after game interviews. By what i can gather he doesnt like them, its not what he wants, and hes been telling the boys that. The lads need to break these bad habits... The long bombs forwards are sole crushing for everyone...
I thought i read somewhere earlier this year (was never able to verify), that his dad had a massive heart attack around the last Christmas period. Which was the reason i thought he spent so much time in Victoria over that time and wasnt training with the boys back in Adelaide, hence his poor...
But unfortuanlty we have also lost our best pressure player in Berry, he has been a pressure gun in his first 5 games. I think his loss will be felt quite a bit, considering we dont have Sloane in there at the moment also.
And just quickly being a development year, structures will suffer slightly to get people into the game, not un happy about this, its whats gotta happen. The ship will tighten down the track when we are ready.
Exciting times we are living in.
No doubt the Fog will spend a bit of time in the centre and out of the forward line this weekend. Lesson some of that congestion.
Also if our mids cant give our forwards decent supply, i suspect we will unleash Thrilly around the ground, to get him involved in his first game.
