How are these models supposed to be accurate?
Do we know how much more plant growth there is when more CO2 is available? This could be a huge factor
and if this is happening how is this certain doom?
What about areas where food will grow better?
And if there was no food available the...
loving it, best halo since CE?
Just went 28 - 2 in a game on the Valhalla remake vehicle combat is the best its been
only negative is spartan ops which could be better
Still seams to me that its just what ever the weather is at the moment its just blamed on climate change. Remember 3 years ago Australia was forever going to be in drought :D .
A "news" report I heard about a year back had an expert who said Australia was going to get hotter, more droughts...
how small is the effect though? and how small is human's effect on greenhouse gases? Clouds do most of the greenhouse effect. CO2 has only a very small effect.
And heaps of preventative action is being taken
I'll give it to you that sea levels are rising at a rate of 3 mm a year. But I don't think that every storm should be labeled as caused by global warming when there have been a lot of worse recorded storms in the last 400 years
At one point back in history when the sea levels were higher New York would have always had meters of water in it. Over time things change. How is a category 2 storm a 1 in 500 year storm?
Why do the media never mention it
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/antarctica/9630314/Australias-Antarctic-airstrip-melts.html
Its talking about one spot where it has become soft at a place that has only been there for 4 years. When the rest of the continent has record ice.
"The...
If more open ocean in the arctic is increasing the temperature there melting the arctic. shouldn't the temperature continue to drop in Antarctica with less ocean absorbing the sunlight so Antarctica never melts?
The complete opposite of each other
I think that it is fairly significant. The largest area of ice on the whole planet which is meant to be warming drastically is actually getting colder. Why isn't it in the headlines at all? If the ice was at record low levels this would get heaps of media attention.
Antarctic sea ice was at record high levels this year

Why does everyone always says that in the past it was better I even saw an ad for a show that was set in the 1940's called it the good old days. We are in a peaceful country with improving life expectancy and living standards with heaps of spare land and the future is going to be worse?
I think North are coming out of a bit of form and us into form its fairly hard to beat the crows in Adelaide. we should win this then the next 2 to go in against the pies hopefully with no more injuries. Looking forward to seeing when we have Ryder, Hurley and Gumbleton in the same forward line...
There would have to be life out there. Life forming at some point on other moons and planets in our solar system hasn't been ruled out yet. So if life can form in 2 separate spots at some time in our solar system. The odds are that it would have to form in 1 of the trillions of other solar systems
I think GWS will play better this week I reckon it will be less than a 50 point margin the pies were fairly bad last week
hopefully you guys get a bigger crowd for this one
This reminds me very much of essendon vs Carlton in round 4
Carlton had just smashed the pies and were going to smash essendon by at least 60 and then were going on to win the flag...
this is the sort of game we could win
