Good Arvo Lads,
Just a quicky to add to the discussion Ryan Harris was an u/16 vice captain for Victoria and in the all australian player, all due to his father Leon Harris
Ryan is now 17 and a struggerling footballer, he is small weak and a small kick he is currently trying to regain some...
Dear Gimp,
you wouldn't know as you have never seen him play he has serious knee problems and is struggerliing with fitness he was given limited opportunitys at TAC level he will show the football world next season what he is worth and how good he really is.
I agree though he does think he is...
Xavier Gotch,
what can you say he is one of the true old fashion skill fill "diesel" like midfielders the arms on the man are a joke his balance is better then that of a ballet, he will defiently go top 40 in this years draft deserves to be in top 20 but i can see clubs not liking his height...
The aps is a soft slow standerd with rich boys and scholarships running around for "passoniate" "commited" footy with "your mates" grom up TAC is 200% better and that is why hardly anyone gets drafted from APS
Mate you wouldnt know TAC because your not in it so dont comment school aps football is a low soft standerd for rich boys to run around in yellow boots and get softer and softer...
The players in the aps side melbourne grammar are ridiculous there was about 5 aboriginal boys in the team who had just gone to the school for football out of the 18 boys in the premiership side 14 of them where scolarships..the APS comp is a joke the kids who go to the school since prep who pay...
I reckon, acc football is a joke some of the players in the 1st competition are pethetic one that i think was probably the worst was a boy name michael williams from de la salle he head butted a white friars player late in the last quater of the grand final in which de la won by 90 points, de la...
I will get the ball rolling and nominate who i thought would be in 2009 draft. Ed vine of the sandringham dragons was a given to play until he did his acl in 2007, shame to see a player with such promise to have to leave the game due to injury.
Just a quicky guys: ones to watch in the sfl league for 2009 are in order from skills:
Samuel Hains (MGS)
Peter Lofitis (BOX HILL SEC)
Leon Komouris ( OAKLEIGH SEC)
Luke Mance (De la Salle)
Edward Vine (St Michaels) * currently long term injury
Georgia Ballieu (**** High)
Jack purton-smith is one to watch in 2009/10 draught we down at dragons believe he is eyeing of a top 5 draft pick quick strong nuggety midfielder one to watch Jack purton smith.
The players who will go close next year at the end of the TAC cup year will be in order of best Tom Scully, Daniel Hannerbry, Jack Purton-Smith. defientetly the best players in Vic Metro and jack was unfortunate not to make team for first rounds other wise would of made the vic metro team.
is it true that Jack Purton-Smith went to mgs, why would they let him go, he would have been an asset for there 1st's team. i watched him play in the herald sun shield semi final, he got them back in the game with kicking the first 2 goals in the 3rd quater. i have to say he is someone to watch...
before the seaoson started i watched a 16 year old boy by the name of jack purton-smith he is probably 17 now, he is quite small but he can run and has A THUMPING OPPOSITE FOOT. i watched him deliver to there full forward cas a number of times, he only got around 22 disposals but he will be a...
Just a Quicky guys,
A boy by the name of Xavier Gotch 17yrs old 176cm 79kg he is one to watch in the 2008 draft he has silky skills and is very quick and smart, playing for Oakleigh Chargers since last year came runnner up B&F at only 16. Remember the name Xavier Gotch, De La Salle.

Just a quicky to note: Jack Purton-Smith use to play for MGS but got a footballing scholarship to De La Salle. He holds the record for the most disposals at APS level with 67 against Scotch in 2004 he also booted 5.3 that game! Again a player to watch for the future a top 10 pick in 2009 is very...
Jack Purton-Smith was the 19th player that ran on the ground and he was close to best on ground he is only 17 and had 31 disposals and 5 goals, one to watch at only 177cm and 82 kg he has a little bit of growth left i'm telling you now a star to watch shine in the future.
Regards,
Dragons.
Next Year We believe that De La Salle will be a powerhouse unit, with the likes of xave murphy, jack purton-smith, and maybe not ryan harris. with other TAC cup players they should go all the way.
Just a quicky to note Jack Purton-Smith had 49 disposals in the U17 div 1 msjfl grand final on...
