Would there be much use in introducing the type of driver ed they have in American schools? I'm not sure of their road tolls etc but some of the accidents with young kids are because they are inexperienced in some if not all situations. Even having a class in their learning test where they learn...

OK so, i finished year 12 in 06, no idea what i wanted to do or study so got a full time job to pass the time by and have some money on the side. I was doing receptionist work and that was just boring so i went into Child Care. I've since then done my studies and have a Diploma in Children's...

Tertiary and Continuing Just got my first Centrelink payment

I had trouble with Centrelink when I finished highschool and was trying to find a job and decide what career I wanted. Both my parents worked but my dad is a relief teacher so it was kind of rare that he would actually be working BUT centrelink claimed that if his income for the year before tax...

Okay where do I start.... The first dog my family had was a German Shephard called Charlie, He got hit by a car when he was 8 and from what i'm told (I would of been 1 yr old) they found him under the same bush he sunbaked in until everyone got home. After Charlie, we got a dog from the...

Need A Root Canal - Cant Afford It

I'm 21 and am still under my parents health fund. We have all the bells and whistles - while it is expensive we use a majority of them. I hate the dentist so when I do go once in a blue moon I just have to pay the gap of whatever is not covered. Usually no more than $100. Seriously ask your...

If you are finding these road rules so ridiculous and feel getting fined for doing 4 or so km's over the speed limit is purely for revenue; How about adhering to the laws? You, the driver, speeding and receiving the fine is feeding their bank accounts.

I made point to you complaining about getting a fine for driving 7km/s over the speed limit. Any fine given is given for a reason and they make you aware of that reason. I know full well someone/a child can be killed by a car travelling at just 5km/s. If you have confidence in your driving...

Education & Reference early life crisis?

I think they should make the gap year program compulsory. I had no idea what i wanted to do at 18, even with all the Life Skills lessons and Career Lessons they had at school. I did know that i didn't want to settle down into something and then regret spending time and money doing it. I just...

Perfect long term relationships that go sour

So cool to read your opinions and sides to the story of 'woe is the gf, played around by bf'. Sometimes when people i know say that after a break-up I want to say that perhaps they we're partly responsible. But honestly at 21 i find it crazy reading about people, the same age as me who are...

Cars & Transportation hit and run at a car park.

My first accident ever, I would have my Provisionals for like 3 months I reckon. My boyfriends driveway was down hill, so reversing out you had to accelerate a little. So off we drive to Macca's one arvo, backing up the driveway got a littel over zealous on the pedal and BANG. Contact between my...

    Female Help

I agree with that. Little things like, a napkin from a restaurant you went to even if its a KFC refresher towel - had some good time at KFC. A picture of something that would remind her of your times together. If she is umimpressed by that, shes a tad materialistic.

Family & Relationships How do you get over a girl?

I've heard/read somewhere, that it is best to avoid 'dating' anyone until approx 6 months after leaving them. As the chances of you getting together with someone of the same characteristics is high.
