I think the Suns would be the right choice. As others have mentioned, it'll sell out regardless, so no need to play those that will draw a big crowd (and potentailly half going for the other team) such as Hawthorn, Essendon, Collingwood, Richmond, Carlton etc.
Tassie crowds are always pretty...
In case anyone else didn't get a text, no need to panic it seems, as the tickets are now in my account and card charged ($424..) before any email received. M7 Row L for anyone curious.
Did anyone else not get this text? Particularly P1?
I'm a Premiership Member, with email confirmation of registering, correct credit card and contact details, but I've had no such text message.. :grimacing:
I've got 1x ticket for sale - I bought a $422 Section 70, Row JJ seat.
I'm in Tassie and was hoping the border changes we announced today (after GF tix went on sale) would include NSW so I could go home via there for a reasonable price, instead I'm stuck with what was originally around $700 to...
Hence why The Footy Show was brought to it's knees the moment Bec was brought on, as Sam and others had to walk on eggshells rather than speak freely, so the spontaneous humour was gone, and their only jokes were scripted. The Sunday Footy show has the right mix of people and banter, similar to...
That mix of 4 have probably never commentated a game together before, which may have added to it, and none supporting either team. For the last decade and more I've listened to Triple M calls more than the tv (although a little less in the last 2 years now that it's not what it once was, and is...
("Most Popular") Logies aren't exactly a respected measure of success, but it won more due to it being the only NRL show to vote for as opposed to several AFL ones that had votes spread across them. There also may be more interested/voters in the Logies in NSW/QLD than elsewhere, but I don't...
Agreed. Nothing overly new, seeing as most of the prospective trades have been talked about for a while now, but it was easy to watch, and it will no doubt kick up a gear from next week.
FYI, in case anyone missed this new show being announced on Footy Classified and The Sounding Board.
It could be interesting. I know in past years there's been some trades etc. that you wish there was still an AFL talk show on tv to hear some more discussion about it.
"TGO" (at least) twice referring to Richmond v Hawthorn as an Elimination Final, and also saying it was on Friday night.
The "Chief Football Writer" needs not waste time on such minor details as to how the actual finals work..
I can't find a recent Bruce thread, so this'll do.
12mins to go in 3rd quarter, Tim Kelly running at 47% disposal efficiency at the time. Kicks one out on the full on the wing. "That might be his first mistake of the night"
Maybe you really are better off just asking your usual irrelevant open...
The time was decided before West Coast won. It was always going to be like this though, as then it creates 7 days between games the following week for both teams, also that they'd rather Gee v Syd on a Friday night than GWS v Port/WCE.
From a selfish point of view though, I wish it were on the...
He already got 99 games he didn't deserve, and I didn't see any talent in his genes that would flow on to a son, so I think we're good. One of Chris Scott's best moments in my eyes to not just gift a 100th game that someone didn't deserve it on ability. I'm still wanting to know what he had on...
Does anyone know of a file or something that can be converted to a spreadsheet earlier with every player with AFL Fantasy/Dreamteam averages etc. from last year that I can use to create my pre-draft list.
I normally make my own every year, but I don't have as much spare time this year, so I was...
Only having 16 of your best 22+ players playing 20+ of 24 games isn't what I'd call a good run with injury personally. Although as with last year, it was more the player positions and timing of the injuries that was the issue (ie. having no ruckman in the finals), and key players out for large...
This was the main reason I wanted Sydney to win today, to avoid this being argued, particularly those that think this puts Hawthorn's 3 premierships above Geelong's.
Clearly I have a biased opinion (and am not 100% sober atm), but here's the reasons I'll be arguing whenever this comes up:
The...
Does anyone know when lockout has been ending? It seems to be early Monday morning, rather than late at night. As one of the many stupid things about this new site compared to VS for the draft leagues, is that free agents can be taken by anyone, on a first in first serve basis, so it's who wakes...
Haha, you guess right! Pick #14 was an 8yo Brisbane supporter too, FYI. Everyone else late 20's +
Mine was Pick 7 btw, and I see Picks 4, 5 and 11 as my teams to beat!

I'm curious if anyone can spot a clear favourite from amongst the teams. There's various levels of DT experience/knowledge amongst the group. Last year we had a 10 man draft with a couple of teams a lot better on paper...
Workmates/Friends and I held a live 14 team snake order draft last night, and this is the end results (in draft order):

....Which is exactly what this was. Harry O had just carried on like a headless chook right in front of Selwood & the Ump when Harry O actually got a free. Siren goes, umpire and Selwood both laughing about it. Don't need to be a lip reader to figure that one out!
You do realise they were probably both laughing about the over-reaction of the Collingwood player (Harry O from memory) when he got a free right before the siren against Selwood, right? They are human, it'd be hard not to laugh at someone carrying on like that, and that's also why they were next...
