So we have managed Stevens and Shuey very well yet people seem to think we have been negligent with Naita? They need to have a bit more faith in player and the doc's who know what they are talking about.
Good article.. she produces some quality work.
Both are best 22. Strijk's marking/presenting across half forward has been brilliant, his disposal a breath of fresh air. Hams has played a very similar role with similar strengths, but could push a bit deeper. Which half forwards are better than them? Nobody. Strijk is better in the mids than...
Re: RDT XIMKI - End of season trip
Mooney kick was blatant... if it was first quarter nobody would've said a thing.
Big Cam was devastated.. but wrong.
And as Mr Eagle said.. who are we kidding? Beach... beer... girls.. 'no' is not a word to be used in this place.
Yep well done... didn't give ya's a chance personally - Geelong seemed 'down' and at the same time your good players stepped up.
I hope for my old man's sake you go all the way... good luck for the rest of the finals.
Injuries have been very frustrating. His best is brilliant.
He hasn't really been tried up forward much.. I remember one game where he was resting there (vs Pies I think?) and he took a screamer at the top of the square.
Any chance we can protect him a little sitting him up forward...
Only been belted once while out... didn't know the guy, friends didn't know the guy, hadn't looked at or talked to him, no prior altercation... I just obviously seemed like a good idea for a punching bag at the time :) I just laughed it off, but I was lucky his punch was about as hard as...
Nope no malice... he might be a great bloke... but I thought Kasey Green gave his all whenever he played... doesn't mean he cut it as an AFL footy player.
Spangher is either extremely uncoordinated or a few screws loose. Whilst he has improved slightly, he still has a knack of taking on...
Rumours? About strikes at Hawthorn Quinz?
Surely you jest !!
Mind you, I havent heard any 'recent' ones. But who needs rumours now when we have facts :)
The article wasn't overly negative but it wasnt over the top biased positivity either. Just simple, honest feedback on each player and was pretty much on the mark with each guy, I believe.
The last thing we need is a young kid with good footskills in our backline with midfield rotation potential.
:confused::confused::confused::confused:
Should we replace him with ANOTHER player who is full of heart, endeavour and toughness but who concedes goal after goal with poor disposal and...
Seems a very sensationalist attempt at journalism.. clearly trying to make things sound a lot worse than they are.
Even if the worst case scenario eventuated, 4 months only takes him to the end of this year, leaving plenty of time to catch up. Would likely work during xmas break when others...
They've got a lot of blokes in and out of the side.. pretty sure there are a lot more who would go before him. JB loves him and his delivery I50.. cant see it happening.
5 games today instead of the usual 4 so the top teams get at least a 6 day break going into finals. Networks are still getting the same # of matches as they normally do, just one game has changed days.
I also like it - a bit of choice for the public.
lol @ Healy. Schofield would have been playing for the cats had they still had zones instead of the draft.
Yeah, because Geelongs success would have been identical despite a completely different team of players.
Bloody good half boys.
Geelong firing up off the ball, crowd going nuts at the umpires... all down to our pressure on the man. We surely cannot maintain it for 4 quarters, but very good endeavour so far.
Scooter update:
Ablett 12 possessions @ 67% + 4 clearances
Scooter 11 @... wait for...
