Glad I flew up from Adelaide, sat in the rain and watched that crap. What a waste of a long weekend. Embarrassed to be a North Melbourne member at the moment.
A friend who is a member also got a call. She declined, however received this email a little later in the day. A little concerning if the club knows nothing about it, assuming this is the same call MM got.
Dear xxxxx
Thanks for your time on the phone.
Please find attached our current...
We were great in most areas except disposal and decision making. These issues seem to pop up every time we play any team of major quality.
A really good side would have smashed us tonight. Turn the ball over like we did tonight and next week against Hawthorn could get real ugly.
I fully appreciate that we are at different stages of development, compared to the top clubs, but it would be nice to at least be still in a game by half time in one of these matches.
Just once.
I was there....Drove over from Adelaide Friday night....and just got home. Great day for boomer and club. Looking forward to wearing the Hoodie around Adelaide this week!! :thumbsu:
Re: Sch(m)idt again v Crows
Lol It really wouldn't matter who the Umpires are. Remember I'm told the AFL are out to get us.
Bad draw
Bad umpires
And it seems the AFL also instruct the footy media commentators to be biased against us every week....after all they all hate us and barrack...
As is the case in most years there is always a few thousand people that for whatever reason don't renew their membership. I'm not sure what the number is this year and I'm certain the club is already on to it, but surely these are our targets for the remaining 6 or so weeks of the membership...
I still think a couple more wins in the next few weeks and the 3 game membership options becomes a viable option for the thousands of fence sitters not on board this year.
Winning makes all the difference to these people and the membership value will still be there in a few weeks time. 30k...
Doc Larkins said an MRI was being done today which is standard procedure and he is still a little sore in the lower back, but he has been cleared of any serious damage.
Said it would be no surprise to see him miss a week or two, but will make a full recovery.
