That midfield is missing a key ingredient, a bald man that could score as captain the equivalent of barlow, judd and mitchell together...... and his name is not chappy.
I have Hodge Goddard Carrazzo Enright already and I'm upgrading Keneally this week. I'm leaning towards picking up James Kelly ahead of Gilbert firstly because i have an obsession with Cats in my dreamteam (6 and counting), even when they struggle they will limp to 80 (downhill skiers if you...
Ive got 'Fothers'"18' this week. ranked 643 overall but i don't rate his team that highly.
Fothers: Malceski, Grimes, Ball, Wells, Judd, Pavlich, Didak, Hall
Vs.
Anominators (Me): Enright, Carrazzo, Swan, Ablett, Hayes, Byrnes, Podsiadly, Dangerfield
We both have Keneally - ill be trading him...
Not sure if there is already a thread for this.....
Who does everyone think are the Top 7 Backs? that is top averaging backs that will obviously play more than 15 odd games.
My opinion changes every week with Lake thrown in this week as a potential top averaging back by the end of the year...

Re: Rd 3 Teams Discussion Thread
Also taken from that article -
“I think most sides struggle with Nick but we’re going to back our defence and hopefully we can shit down the ball use that comes in from their midfield and try to restrict them that way,” Pendlebury said.
Nice work Ben Broad
My mistake, must have missed Sidebottom. The other one that i question is Nathan Brown. Maxwell isn't really a CHB he is more of a flank that picks off the loose stuff coming in and plays that 3rd man up role. Harry can play CHB but he's also useful rebounding and playing on that mid sized...
There is no one in that Collingwood team that i categorically disagree with however you have left out some players who will definitely be in the mix. Players that spring to mind are O'bree, Beams Sidebottom and although he is injured I am interested to see whether Mick decides to put Wood in for...
You can only look so far into previous performances against a particular club. A better indicator is the current form that the player is in. For instance, Kornes might be averaging 120 or what not against Freo however he may have changed his role in the team a lot since then and the form that...
Coughlan has to be picked first. I'd go with Muston though if they both play. He racks them up on his wing.
Sidebottom, Warren Or Walker? Leaning towards sidebottom because he isnt a taller key position and he plays for a stronger club and they are up against Melbourne.
I would trade Warren out before Mitch Brown. Warren won't keep his spot for too much longer i wouldn't have thought. He hasn't been overly impressive in his first 5 games. They will both be about the same price i would suggest when Ballantyne comes into the equation but Mitch Brown will keep his...
Ricky Petterd's pre-season dreamteam scores - 24, 46, 71, 18.
They don't show much promise. The only reason i could think anyone would pick him up is because they adored him a couple of years ago when he was one of the rookies of the season and they decided to repay the faith. Also if he...
Firstly on Krakouer I think that all owners should stick by him. He didnt fluke his first 5 rounds, he is capable and realistically should average 75-90 so although his price is dipping now he will stablise in 3-4 weeks back up around 300k if not surpass and continue to rise past to around...
There is a clear distinction between good dreamteamers with badluck and poor dreamteamers with terrible decisions. eg. a terrible decision would be to pick up campbell brown or ricky petterd, whereas an unlucky pickup would be a david hille or a liam anthony.
Thought id keep this thread going for another year. I wouldn't be getting ROK or Johnson, i'd be getting Jefferey Garlett. As Mark Riley put it best "I wouldn't like to be a half-back flanker with the ball in my hands in today's game with Jefferey Garltett in the vicinity because he'll run you...
Big kudos to the big Wazza and Dean Laidley for sticking with him - 5 games straight is more than i was expecting out of you when i picked you up in a state of panic
Trade hentschel up to whatever you can get (voldt pav deledio sjohnson) - and the hope that higgins plays (i know hes an emergency but he might play still)
Thats a fairly good team lmaohelp providing you havent used an excessive amount of trades to get it there (no more than 6). Don't trade this week is the best advice i can give you. You have ablett ziebell and higgins coming back next week to sure things up and the only trade that i would...
Whats the deal with Hurley? I havent heard him mentioned much. He isn't on the injury list anymore i don't think and with essendons backs at the moment you would have to suggest he would be getting a game. Anyone?
Is anybody else thinking about trading in Sidebottom in the mids rather than the forwards due to the recent casualties in the mids (ablett, kornes, swan??, etc.) as back up/support. There aren't many choices in the forward line in regards to rookies so it would only make sense to get sidebottom...
Loud Eagle you probably only have 2 real premium backmen who will be top 7 there so if you were to keep all the other players you would have to aim to trade rance to the best defender you don't have. IMO based on averages so far and the possession style of game Richmond play that means Bowden is...
Not really all that relevant but Anelka isn't the only one who does the butterfly, Yakubu does it as well. But apparantly it is relation to his roots: Nigeria's nickname is "The Golden Eagles". I read that on some everton board i think.
