If anyone is in the same situation as I am. Just need to wait a while after you signed up to the free trial and then you can go to 'My Account' and under 'My Packages' you'll find the cancellation link there.
I've just signed up to the Free Trial and received a confirmation email detailing that I need to cancel my subscription before the 7th November if I wish to not get charged full amount. The email also said that I may cancel at any time from 'My Account' however can't seem to find how to cancel...
I've been reading through this thread and I have similar results to some of you. Swan v Pendles. In my count I have Swan beating Pendles by 3. I have Swan polling (2votes) in 1 game between rounds 1-9. Phantombrownlow was the same too from memory. Now looking at Swan's stats between rounds 1-9...
Yeah I agree with Power21, the development points are too easily gained I think. A player can be rated at around the 60 mark and half way through the season he can move up to the late 70's or even 80's.
On another note, the side view camera is no good at all I believe. Since everyone is...
In my last post I forgot to mention that I am not playing as St. Kilda, I'm playing as Collingwood.
Next AFL better than Fifa and Nba? aha that's also laughable. No way in hell will Afl be as good as Fifa or Nba. Afl. is too far behind......too far. To compare future Afl games to Fifa or Nba...
I'm in 2007 and St. Kilda's team has some new recruits here they are:
Jude Bolton, Mark Johnson, Barry Hall, Josh Mahoney, Saverio Rocca, Jonathan Hay, Troy Makepeace.
The trade system is pretty laughable ha I think.
Most people say make afl games as realistic as possible, and then some of you get angry or annoyed at the people who are very annoyed at the reasons for retired players. Truely those reasons are garbage and pathetic I think. Why include any reason/s at all, if they are going to be so unrealistic
The old AFL game on NES was so much fun, very awsome gameplay at the time too, speccies were so much fun, and the goal kicking system was very good, similar to the latest version 2006.
Personally, in the 2004 version I felt I had more control over the player with the ball than in this version (2006). In the 2004 version, players were more common to run with the ball and find players in space. Afl 98 was very good I thought, it was heaps of fun too. I liked the gameplay a lot...
FH, I have just observed the listed retired players and the reasons for them. Were the reasons meant to be humours or even a joke, or what? ahah. They are the most ridiculous reasons I have ever read or seen. Here are some examples:
S.Crawford retires, reason is 'Starting a music career in...
This is humour, Tarrant reported for pushing and was suspended for 1 match. I appealed, but was unlucky to receive an extra match suspention haha. Gee the tribunal is nearly exactly the same as in 'real life'.
I have reached round 5, and so far I have observed all that the opposition do is...
It is an improvement from 2005. What happened just then? Gheric was on the tightest angle, boots it into the point post.....and 'out of bounds is awarded' What is going on there?..............Sorry my bad, it's a pre season game aha..sorry for making anyone's heart beat faster than normal.
I hope this is an improvement, But it doesn't matter if I borrow or rent a game first - Fiery Hawk indirectly admitted that this will be a sub-standard game. I will eventually play the game so it doesn't really matter.
Fiery Hawk, I don't mean to vent my anger at you. I assume that you don't...
I'm not trying to criticise, but I'm just stating what I think are facts.
Anyways why wouldn't I be allowed to criticise, seeing as though AFL Premiership 2005 was like watching bald tribal men trying to play AFL Football.
Thanks for the Philosophy 101 response. I guess we can just go back to saying the same things in different words, like releasing the same game three or four times with a different name.
"Just buy the game. Hate it. Complain. Wait for the next game. Hate it, etc"
Maybe the next game will be called AFL 2006 Deja Vu.
If the price range isn't reflective of the game in any way, then why did you know from 'Day One' that it would be in that range?
Sorry Fiery Hawk but that sounds like you are saying - "The game wasn't ever meant to be any good"
It's like saying 'We think it's ok to make a **** movie, as long as we make another one after it"
Thus damaging our reputation for making AFL games even more and lowering the trust of the...
Ok fair enough. Are you considering the options of editing players, for example: player socks down or up, shoulder bandages, etc, or any editing as such in the 2007 version?
$64. hmm, is that already saying something about the game?...
Fiery Hawk, will there be anything like NAB Rising Star nominations or anything along the lines of that?
