Haven't read through the whole thread, so, apologies if this has been said umpteen times, but the frees against Grimey and Nanks were deplorable. We often get jerked off by umpires but not so often do those tuggings result in sure-fire goals.
I think McIntosh is our most underrated player.
His work defending and protecting the open side of the ground is so important...and he does it with aplomb. It isn't a sexy role and he's never going to pick up vast swathes of possessions but it is vital.
I reckon if you asked the Club's brains...
Been reading through this thread.
Am I the only one to think they would rather place their faith in our professional recruiters (who have done so well over recent years) than keyboard warriors?
Mot over-rated media darling since Stephen Silvagni.
And like that other traitor to his original club, Nathan Buckley, his destiny is to never be involved in a flag.
3 minutes into the first quarter…loose ball on the wing…Dusty running one way, Menegola the other.
That was one of the most shameless, pea-hearted jibbing performances you could imagine. It set the tone for the game – where a 26 point loss was flattering for Geelong.
With Miers (my most...
He seems like a lovely boy.
He is obviously very shy which isn't unexpected.
Whilst I would like him to mature physically, mentally and socially and become a Richmond star, there is a part of me that says his youth and innocence is so endearing that I hope he just has a happy life with 'the...
One of the most throbbing games of footy I can recall seeing.
Sensational to see the Struggletown win again.
Dusty - off the top of my head, is that 15 votes in the last 6 Rounds?
I'm not sure we're not a better team in the dry. It struck me that a number of our boys (this week and last)...
Shai Bolton has surprised me this year.
i expected he'd never amount to anything and go the same way as Stengel (traded for a low draft pick as a best-case return).
He has become a mainstay in a short period - Shai is one very good player.
I'm loving watching him - few in the League hit the...
Abysmal place to play in the mid 80's - me sng my ruckman got a sawn-off puleedon us one day as we walked off Shelley (pretty sure that was the name of it) Park.
With a little luck, we can have a new young man who is very good and plays well for Richmond; whilst beings a beacon for indigenous youth throughout the country.
Heaven knows, they all deserve it.
We were smashed by a significantly better team on the night.
The reality is we only have two genuinely 'A' grade midfielders ( Cotch and Dusty). Collingwood have significantly more (Sidebottom, Adams, Treloar and Pendlebury).
As much as I'm genuinely excited that Lynch is likely to join us, we...
Previously torn hammies can leave scar tissue. The stretching of that can feel like a pull/tear in itself when it is really part of the greater healing process.
Trusting that is the case here.
Pretty sure we all know that no criminal proceedings were ever initiated against Milne.
Anyone know if the young lady in question ever commenced civil proceedings against him?
I do.
Anyone know if those proceedings were resolved? How? When? What terms?
What would any (putative)...
I'm finding all of this he's great/crap dichotomy rather amusing.
A defender has been picked up by a team that is coached by (probably) Port's greatest defender. The same team that has, as its back coach, one of the best defenders of his generation (and who played in one of history's great...
Pat Contin - rookied again, if not a late/last round pick for the main list.
White - no trade value - anywhere, ever...and as for the person who suggested McGuane could realise a 2nd round pick...parallel universe, perhaps?
Maybe it is because I'm 46 years old and have a significant slice of my life (app. 98%) that isn't all about the RFC.
But the moronic bleatings on here tonight are really extraordinary.
I loved, love and will continue to love our club.
Some of the comments on here tonight are a little like...
