Imagine if the Demons had have stuck with Neeld for 11 years, paying him 800K a year, with Gary Lyon and his mates telling everyone via media channels that Neeld is coaching at the top of his game, and has passed the test.
Here is what AI thinks about Ken Hinkley remaining as head coach of our football club despite 11 years of failure -
The question of whether Ken Hinkley should remain as the coach of the Port Adelaide Football Club is a complex and subjective one. While there may be valid arguments for his...
Who was that idiot from the club who was asking on Twitter why our memberships were so far down and why our crowds were so bad? Can we send him tweets asking if he's worked it out yet?
Whats wrong with you people. Its not a troll, or a crows supporter. Who was defending Hinkley to the point of ridiculousness, and suddenly a new account shows up and starts defending everything Hinkley. Put 2 and 2 together guys.
ken said that we lost the will or desire to play contested footy and to hunt. to me it looked like we are only half in on that style of game. look at the teams who do it well, richmond obviously, and i actually think the bulldogs do it well also, they just dont have enough talent in their...
i hope polec stays at our club. he is an adelaide boy who we got to come back home from brisbane. you guys are right. he has been our best midfielder this year. we cant afford to lose him to a victorian club. we just cant. give him what he wants ports. get it done.
North are a joke. So many plodders in that side. If we don't seriously demolish them this week I won't be very happy, and we don't want that. This should be a very good win, and another statement while cementing our spot in the top 4.
Look at the space they gave Lewis though. There wasn't another played in camera shot when he marked it. There will be some strong words used in the review when looking at that.
Yeah I completely agree. I wonder if it's above the shoulders and he struggles with the structures and defensive side of the game? So ends up confused and thinking too much, and games end up drifting by without him having an impact. His see ball, get ball ability was elite before he was drafted.
If he sorts that out and gets his mindset back, he is very capable. Playing for Morningside in the NEAFL, he was extremely damaging and had a very strong presence around the stoppage which is what got him rookie drafted in the first place. He hit hard, and hit to hurt.
Which in my opinion is because he is played out of position. Is that not a common line of thought ? In the NEAFL he seemed to be playing a half forward role in the games I watched. Using his size to win the footy on the inside and making his presence felt is his best natural attribute that he...
Considering our early bye, does Powell-Pepper need a rest before attacking the last third of the season? Would be a good game to do it against North Melbourne at home.
There seems to be a lot of criticism aimed at Tom Bell. I know he has a broken leg now, but as has been mentioned, he has a contract for next year. Does anyone think he has struggled this year because he is being played out of position ?? He is super hard at it and has the body to really crash...
This thread is actually destined to fade into oblivion as we start banking the wins and you will be of the realisation that you will not be getting a top 10 pick from us. May as well start getting used to the idea.
Thankyou Byron. I am hoping not this year. Lets hope the smile stays for the bulk of the season. A solid start to the year will go a long way to achieving that. If Ryder keeps developing from that effort on the weekend, that will go a long way towards getting our season going in the right direction.
