OUT: Hombsch, In: Eddy. Trengove down back. Dunno what the **** is wrong with Hombsch this year but he's just not looking anything like the player he was a couple of years ago. Trengove is a better defender than what Hombsch has shown this year, and Eddy is a better forward than Trengove.

Outside of that, Arch for SPP if he needs a rest, otherwise no other changes.

I could buy into this.

I wish people would temper their ire for guys like Young & Ah Chee with the fact they are not high half forwards who get a squirt on the ball here and there types, they are both midfielders and if they cant get a gig as mids they probably shouldn't get picked at all.
Young racks up the numbers in the SANFL because he plays his natural position.

Nah, like his nemesis Moore both were HFFs who we tried to turn in to inside mids. Young has gotten very good at it at the lower, slower level, but I still don't think he'll be able to do it at AFL.

Westhoff was terrific when played forward today. Kick 2 valuable goals. Still I don't think he's the permanent solution to our lack of kpf depth. His goal kicking is too iffy and Ken's luvs pushing him into defence. Want Eddy to come in for S. Gray

Been playing midfield roles since he was baby & known for his clearance work before he was drafted

S Gray & Impey will keep their spots. Sam was serviceable and on at least two or more occasions the boundary line just popped up a little bit too soon and Jarman can always be thrown into the centre/defence if he goes missing in the forward zone.
I guess Neade & Drew will be back to the Maggies. Amon & Broadbent, if fit, will also return via the Maggies.
Atley to keep his spot, but I think White will be omitted.
I know it's a never ending request from most BF posters but it's now time for Eddy to get some game time so that he will be cherry ripe by the finals (fingers crossed, of course).
So after that rambling, this is it:
Out: White
In: Eddy
We now only need to name the 1 emergency. Remember the 1's & 2's are playing at the some time next Saturday. Thanks SANFL!!

This I like the sound of, especially against North.

I don't think we can keep Trengove as is.

Awful in the forward line, he just doesn't read the play at all and can't pressure because of how immobile he is.

Our stoppages went to complete shit with him *******.

We're forcing players to play out of position just so that we can fit Trengove into the AFL atm
Against the grain on here but I think JT is doing his job.

He isn't a great forward and he isn't a great ruck but he is serviceable at both and gives 110%.

So long as we keep Westhoff forward or bring in another tall it will work for us.

It is actually a pretty tough, much maligned role. Just ask Tippett.

I'd go with no changes.

I am keen to see who can replace S Gray or Impey but the like.of Monfries and Johnson need to prove themselves and their fitness at SANFL level first over a few weeks 1st.

SGary and Impey just didn't do enough at all. They must be just about out of chances.

Theoretically Broadbent comes back in. Amon possibly as well. Monfries?

I think keeping the 3 tall forwards is paramount. We dominate I50s. We showed how well that can work for us by lighting WCE up for 120 points when they hadn't conceded 100 at Subi all season.

Who those KPFs are actually doesn't bother me too much. I want to see Eddy or Howard get ago but I can handle them being left out provided we are keeping both Westhoff and Trengove up forward. If one of them is going back to defence/midfield, Eddy or Howard (or Frampton) needs to come in.

My melts this week won't be based on personnel provided we maintain our forward structure. We already know the midfield and defence will be awesome.

Eddy wasn't brought in after we kicked 8 goals in a home defeat to Richmond so he's definitely not coming in after we slotted 18 majors past West Coast away.

Broadbent will come in if fit, not sure who for.

That'll be about it I'd say.

Atley took a bit to get used to the game but was decent. His low time on ground makes his numbers look better really however, my concern is we already give SPP low time on ground and I don't think we should be playing two youngsters in the team that can't play a high percent of the match times. We ran away well with 8 goals in the 4th so perhaps my theory is way off but I am very concerned it will come back to bite us. It is tough on Atley and no fault of his own but for the sake of the team balance and the team, I would rather see another fitter more experience player take that spot at this stage of our 2017 premiership campaign. Whether that is Amon Young Monfries AJ or even krak (not based on form I know) or Ah Chee, I don't mind

I'm putting it down to minor injuries.
I'm putting it down to constant major injuries and wear and tear caused by those injuries.

Multiple hip surgeries, back to back hamstring injuries, back to back knee injuries, probably a host of unannounced playable injuries.

He's definitely beaten up and needs a clean run.

White out would be Johnson in?

We need pace and the balance is about right.

I don't even know Whites stats and I don't care. I like the ball in his hands, he's one of our best tacklers and is a match winner on his day. He seemed to run with Mitchell in the last quarter and really effected his game.

I wouldn't underestimate North, they flogged the Crows and have been right in games against good opposition.

S. Gray was off but barring injury, no change.

broady for Jasper

Why? Seriously ?

Such a nothing move. As down as pittards year has been can you really differentiate between him and broadbent in any way other than to say broadbent is more invisible and therefore doesn't draw the ire of fans as much?

Edit : I can preempt your predictable response and answer for you right now.

It's easier for broadbent to make less mistakes than pittard when he sits 20m away watching pittard take the game on
