Dale is priced at 98 and has gone 100+ precisely once (102).
How much value is he really? Surely in that price range you are looking for kent's that jump up to 105+? Where/how does he do that?
Genuinely no idea about this Scoops. I have heard of Rodgers, but I'm lost after lol.
24 is doable imo, but you need to get almost everything right. Assuming the rookies do as well as last year that is.
23 premo's has been the goal for a few years imo, with the extra trades.
Doesn't mean we all get there though, shit happens. Probably 24 should be the goal now, but as you say the worry is cutting corners for the last few. The trick is picking off all the correct value options through the...
Agreed, definitely some over-thinking going on. The Flex position helps you dodge an injury/sub score. So put your "safest" player there and carry on imo. Especially after a few weeks when we have dead rookies/bye players that can be used to loop the rookies.
Melbourne will need a KPD to replace May and Lever over the next few years. Definitely a spot there if he's good enough. Suns will have at least one and probably two of Ballard/Andrew/Read in defence. All are young.
IMO given the Suns drafted a KPD this year they don't expect to get him (or...
It depends how you look at it. If you play as just a 31st player, aware you need the cash gen to get 23 premo's playing an "extra" rookie makes a lot of sense.
Folk talking about putting a SP mid/ruck there are just robbing Peter to pay Paul. They will have an extra rookie/mp on field somewhere.
Finished the season strongly and is training the house down. St Kilda need to develop their young players like him, fitness aside I'm confident he's a good pick.
I'm sceptical about him too. Even if he gets mid time there is no way he will get enough to rack it up like in juniors.
I have him in as a placeholder currently, but will swap him out if/when a cheaper option presents.
Already priced close to his max, about to turn 30, gun though. Not great value IMO. Probably another upgrade target, although St Kilda have a good early fixture.
No offence to Scythe94 who's a gun at SC, but sometimes it's best to ignore posters on the teams they support as they can be too...
My take is put a player there you would normally have on field. Whether a rookie, midpricer, or premo it doesn't really matter as long as you are confident they will be a better scorer than the rookies you have on the bench.
A player with DPP allows more flexibility, but isn't essential.
Really not convinced about any def premo other than Sheezel and SamFlan. NWM is ok, but I doubt he has a huge jump in average. Got to pick someone though. I like Houston, but he's an upgrade target not a starter.
Rivers I dunno, more a placeholder. Windsor is training in defence apparently...
