I don't pretend to know anything about how this works, but I'd trade next year's 2nd & 3rd for Parker & our priority pick (19 or whatever it is) back. It is ours after all, and we're doing them a favour for next year. Seems reasonable to me.

If you had the option, would you hold pick 2 or split for 6 & 13 for eg? Is the gap between that top tier and second tier significant? Myself, my preference is to keep pick 2 and pick the best talent, even if it's another midfielder. If we could get next year's first into this draft, would love...

I hope we can find a way to draft him. With he and Duursma in the same team, we'll have a mortgage on mark of the year for the next ten years. One at either end or both up forward is an exciting prospect.

He actually reminds me a bit of Adam Hunter who played for the Eagles 15 years or so ago. Maybe because he used to get swung forward whenever they needed something up there, but was an excellent defender too.

The excitement of being on top after the first game has already been decimated. Played a couple of good teams though.
