1) Weddle - plonk him at CHF & watch him channel Dermie
2) Day - would have been in a prelim if he could have finished the year
3) Watson - this kid could be anything - how exciting was he in the last few weeks
4) Newk - he is ready to take on anything & finish top 5 in the Brownlow
5) Lewis -...
when I first looked at the photo I started counting how many Coleman medals, Norm Smiths, Brownlows & Premiership medals & then I thought man that's hard
Malcolm Hill (RIP) played 22 games for Hawthorn including the 1961 first flag
He then moved to SA & played 40 games for Sturt & won 3 flags (1966, 1968 & 1969)
That is an average of a flag every 15.5 games!
Cam Green's stats are very similar to another player we had at the same age & he turned out ok
"Heading into the 1989 Ashes series, Waugh's batting average was 30.52 from 26 Tests.[56]" - he happened to be 24 at the time
I'm happy to drop Wingard over Breust or Brocky - just doesn't have it anymore & gets injured so easily
I was so excited when we recruited him but he is a bust unfortunately
I agree. I think he is working his way back with confidence as well. Early in the druggies game he was rucking like Ceglar where he wouldn't leap at all but I noticed he was getting more into it later in the game so I am still bullish.
so we have helped him & his family in more than one way as they can now be successful Hawthorn supporters rather than all die without seeing their club win a flag :)
i am just posting this here as it will show a new message & everyone will get excited waiting for Axe
just tested positive on a RAT damn it - guess that's the penalty for enjoying 3 days at the cricket!
Gowers for me - I strayed from the suggested H4C ticket in that I voted for Hudson over Merlino - my reasoning is to take politics right out of it, he is a Hawthorn man & have no doubt he still has contacts re any potential funding
roll on season 2023
well thankfully I had to take my son to Adelaide for a specialist appt so the 6 hour return drive saved me from following this all day only to be disappointed at the end
