I don't understand why people are saying 'rest' MacKenzie - by playing him for a whole game at Box Hill?

A rest means 'don't play' surely.

Against Crows he was quiet in a pocket, but did some really, really nice stuff when attending centre bounces.

I think he could be a super player in 18 months time - he's pretty good now tbh.

Morrison had 6 tackles and 25 pressure acts today and the midfield has been far more competitive and cohesive since he’s come back this year and people still want him dropped. Wishing won’t make it so here folks - Morrison will be there next week.
Yeah true - just wish he'd stop getting caught with ball

Why the hell didn't Leigh say this the week before our 2016 semi final. May have cost us a premiership. Still glad someone has FINALLY said it.

All they're doing is making sure they follow through with the hand that should've punched the ball to give the illusion of a handball.

Don't expect anything to change in our game though. They've hand the name "Throwdogs" for ages and it hasn't changed anything.

I'm happy to drop Wingard over Breust or Brocky - just doesn't have it anymore & gets injured so easily

I was so excited when we recruited him but he is a bust unfortunately
Did you even watch last game? He played quite well as a high half forward.

No need to play a 2nd ruckman against the dogs.
English will win the majority of the taps and will beat Reeves around the ground.
Just need Reeves to jump into him and rove to him.
Trap their mids under the ball and don't let them beat us on the outside.

I would love to see Ramsden come in and be the second ruck. Even if he only plays 50-60% game time.

Let's be honest, I think we are all struggling to find someone to omit to get our best 22 players back into the side. That shows that we currently have maybe ~25 players that are considered best 22 and that's a really healthy spot to be in to drive for improvement and progression as a group.

I agree and it feels a weird position to be in considering we are sitting in 18th position on the ladder.

In previous seasons it's felt like we have just been shuffling the deck chairs each week to fill the last few spots in the line up. Now we will have players genuinely unlucky to miss out

English will have worn out Reeves before halftime if he tries to go against him solo.

Probably Reeves worst match up. Given English pretty much matches him in height alongside the only way to really beat English is with pure strength which isn’t Reeves go.

English is freakishly mobile for someone who stands 208cm.

I agree Ned has his work cut out for him this weekend.

Meeks probably gets a call up to the seniors just to offer some physicality against English (although TBH that hasn’t appeared to be one of Meeks strong suits either).

Hi all
Taking my two girls in for this one , normally would train it but going to drive .
Any decent places to park , looks like Marvels car park is booked up ( according to there website )

I normally park in Wilson car park at 542 little Bourke, book a bay online for $8.

Otherwise the opposite building, 570 little Bourke, Secure car park. I sometimes park there for $5 the whole day.

Quite a few starting to put their hands up at Box Hill on top of Day and Lewis being available. Great problem to have.
