We don't deserve anything. We support our club and deal with what occurs. We are most likely to see our side lose because they are playing away but we see some splendid wins. Stick with it, suck it up. That's what supporters do.
Our problem won't be solved by dropping players. They have to work harder with their coaches and stick tough until the reinforcements arrive -Goodes, Mumford in particular. Morton with 18 goals in two weeks in the ressies might be given a chance. LRT should replace White, if he is available. I...
I don't know much about Greg being such a bad person. He is a very successful businessman and was also a brilliant footballer. He's close to the best footballer I ever saw. He gave the Swans great service, especially in his last season or so when the club was not travelling well and were very...
I'm not sure about who we should be delisting but Moore, Seaby, Bevan and Sumner should be put up for trade and be given the opportunity to go elsewehere. If Seaby goes Currie should stay, but he might also want to be traded. White stays. You don't delist players of his youth, build and...
Only change will be Malceski for Hannebery but Bolts suggested that he might be right. Rohan OK. Parker should still be sub. Can I silence the knockers on Craig Bird? He's doing a great job and is highly regarded by the coaches. He'll be playing.
Like Mick Oxlong, I object to any of our players being described as hopeless, particularly a wonderful player like Tagdh. He was OK on Saturday but his presence in the team will depend on whether Macca wants to play. But don't write off good 200 game players! Also don't take Lions lightly.
The players were marvellous. But I think the coach was first class as well. His pre-game comments, his on-field moves and his post-game comments were at the highest level. It was his best performance of the year and his players supported him to the hilt. Well done!
Dunn for a 4th round draft pick. Taylor Walker is a possibility but we have plenty of money to do a good deal. We might be able to do better than that. Let's look at what GWS is offering.
If we win 4 quarters that is a 4 quarter effort. Best we've played for many weeks. Jack and Bird gave the side more bite. Best game the captain has played. Some bigger challenges ahead.
Umpiring was over-technical. Nine goals from frees is unheard of. But we only had ourselves to blame. If you play for 2 quarters you will be beaten every time. The criticism of McVeigh is ridiculous. Was in our best 3 and is capable of anything. Next week Bolton comes in. White has to go and I...
The comparison between Reid and White is ludicrous. White is not up to it at the moment. He needs to go back to the ressies and recover his confidence. If he plays at FF he doesn't come back until he has kicked bags of 8+ at least 2 weeks in a row. In the meantime LRT rests at FF.
Taylor Walker now apparently in Sydney's radar. I've also heard that we're after Goddard and Hawkins. Dawes would be brilliant in Sydney but like Heath would cost us.
We have all seen what Jesse can do. I would not be too quick trying to move him on. When Bradshaw came last year White was pushed into a pocket and this season has played relief ruck and forward. They need to decide where they want him to play and then settle him down to learn how to play that...
Bird, Bolton perhaps Seaby in. The 2 ruckmen might put some pressure on Freo's inexperienced rucks. Shaw on Hill but who to play on Pav is the problem. Our greatest asset will be the SCG. If we can keep it tight and kick a goal or two we could be right. Goodes might play midfield. Big game for us!
Only guesswork but White and Bevan will come in for Jetta and Mumford. However both Richards and Johnson are in some doubt. Johnston should replace Richards and one of Moore, TDL or Heath will replace Johnson. White should play FF and share the ruckwork and if Richards is out LRT will replace...
Our greatest need is a key forward. We either chase Hawkins first up or look for soeone less obvious. I wouldn't be trading Jesse White because he has shown that he can play the position but not with consistency. Lake is too old.
LJ is also a possibility.
Spangher was recruited to boster the defence in being able to fill a KPP if required. In such a compromised draft he was probably the best available option, assuming thay were not looking for a youngster who would take 5 years to develop. We will have to do a bit more pinchhitting in the next...
If we do any more deals they will be with bottom list changovers. I like our list as it is. Only an Anthony or a Thursfield would interest me. Neither will happen. If our list stays healthy I will be happy.
