Pretty self explanatory.
What was the best game of footy not involving your club in 2024?
For mine it would be hard to go past the Port vs Hawthorn semi final. No team ever really had control and it was anyone's guess who would win until the siren went.
Honourable mention to the Anzac day draw.
On field leadership at stoppage is a massive concern. Whenever there's an important stoppage that the opposition need to win a clean clearance, you can bet your bottom dollar that they'll probably win it.
I'll take the bait.
Honestly, if trolling an opposition board on bigfooty is the best thing you have to do in the evening of a public holiday, you should probably reassess your life choices.
I can only assume you're single. Probably overweight. More than likely suffer from...
I wouldn't be surprised if Lachie Neale genuinely ****ing belts someone before the end of his career. The amount of shit he puts up with without any sort of reward is criminal.
It's definitely an interesting exercise and that's a perspective I hadn't considered!

Worked pretty well for Geelong in 2006, Hawthorn in 2010, Richmond in 2016, Melbourne in 2020...
And don't forget that pundits were calling for Chris Scott's head after a few seasons of early finals exits.
You know that we've just changed our Back and Forwardline coaches this year, and our Midfield/Stoppage coach last year?

I thought I was exaggerating but a quick venture over to the North boards and it seems that a few of them agree with me.
Having a laugh with your direct opponent not even 10 seconds after a 70 point loss is never a great look.
Fair enough. I'll take your word for it.
I agree that we lack that real "foot on the throat" mentality and we have seen that over the last few seasons, but I don't think that's a reason to write us off completely, or that we'll losing multiple games this year by 50+ points.
We're not a good...
Would you have been happier if we dropped the game by 50+ points and never looked a chance?
We took the foot off the pedal and played like a side who aren't worried about Round 0.
Carlton will be a good team this year and had a point to prove.
We'll be okay.
