Even the Geelong board is confused by the pick trade.
There’s surely no way they would have done that trade if they didn’t already have an agreement involving 25.
Haha very good 😂.
The hypothetical question didn’t say they had to be like for like. I prefer not to have a tall as the sub, and 4 talls in a fwd line is too many.
It’s Hill in for the Fourth tall. One of Johnson or Krueger would still be in the team. He’s a genuine crumbing forward with pace. Elliot and WHE can both play as the lead up forwards and take grabs as well.
I like Murphy, but I think long term he’ll replace Howe. We need a big KPD in the team...
So this 600k a year, did it come from someone internally to the club that knows the exact list strategy (if there is one)? We could have front loaded a heap of contracts for this year meaning the cap is tight this year but relatively free next year?
It was always going to be a struggle after Richmond won. Dusty had more contested possessions, much higher efficiency and kicked 2 snags. M.Crouch is an absolute ball magnet but didn't have a big effect in the game after the first quarter. I thought Houli was probably best on though.
Mitchell played 26 games last year for the Swans. He's a bigger loss than most people think, it's possibly compounded at the moment due to injuries for them though.
Why is it a negative to playing 2 ruckmen? I think it will mean teams will want a better 2nd ruckman because they can't blanket the oppositions no.1 around the ground.
Sicily isn't a Key Position player. He's going to be a good player, and I wouldn't say no to targeting him but he's a half forward. I'd rather we target list needs first like Key Forwards.
If we're recruiting Mayne to play instead of Blair I think it's an upgrade, because Mayne can take a mark. If we're recruiting Mayne to play in the same team as Blair we're in trouble
