Winning the 'behinds'! Geelong have smashed us but also been crazy accurate kicking for goal. Then Rohan does that. Sent from my SM-A528B using Tapatalk

Crazy isn't it. They've done nothing but vehemently defended Duncan since the incident. Sent from my SM-A528B using Tapatalk

There's been a pretty loose ruling on what constitutes a handball tonight. Sent from my SM-A528B using Tapatalk

The cats are by far the better team tonight, but the separate sets of rules are baffling. Sent from my SM-A528B using Tapatalk

Autopsy AFL 2020 Round 6 - Tigers v Swans Sun July 12th 3:35 AEST (Gabba)

Nope, you've missed the point. Deliberate is not even a consideration if you've been pushed across the line. The action to cross the line must be initiated by the player with the ball before they can then consider if it was a deliberate action. Sent from my LG-H870DS using Tapatalk

So which rookie draft pick gets assigned to Fisher? Our final one?

Where Do the Swans Go From Here?

You win. What I meant to say was high class players hawthorn are accumulating. Essentially the same thing. Not having a go at Hawthorn at all. But it's a given that most players want to play for winning teams.

Where Do the Swans Go From Here?

I understand what you're saying, and I'm in agreement with the salary cap being even across all clubs going forward. The problem being that the COLA was already being phased out in an agreed manner over a number of years. So not only have the AFL performed an about face on said agreement, but...

Where Do the Swans Go From Here?

Big money offers from a successful club are always going to be attractive to players, just look at the number of high class free agents Hawthorn keep accumulating. The thing people love to gloss over when mentioning how the swans recruited Tippett and Franklin, is how we culled a mass of...

Who's likely to debut round 1

Tippett won't be ready until round 3 or 4. Plus we played with 2 dedicated rucks last season (Pyke/Mumford). That may change this season with the number of tall forwards we have, but until I see it firsthand, I will assume we will continue down the 2 specialist ruckman route.

Who's likely to debut round 1

I thought Dean Towers may have been a chance for the swans until he wasn't in the squad for the last game against Brisbane. Directly competing for the role Jetta/Brandon Jack play. Otherwise there is a chance Nankervis or Naismith may get the 2nd ruck gig, but looks like probably being Derickx...

    Natural arc

That was my tongue in cheek way of suggesting the arc may be natural when the angle to goal suits.

    Natural arc

Must admit, I haven't been watching the Hawks this year until today. Fair play to him if he's worked on it and changed. But still does beg the question of why the AFL changed the ruling allowed the arc in the first place, when clearly it was just poor technique.

    Natural arc

Just saw that Buddy's supposed natural arc mysteriously disappears when he's in the left pocket. Hmmmm

    Hedging like a little bitch.

Put $5 on the Swans into the Storm at the start of the year to win $840. Have just hedged it with $200 on the Bulldogs, although it seems smart, I feel dirty at the same time....

    Who will win the Brownlow?

I actually placed a speculative $5 bet on Cotchin before the season started. Got him at $50 Wish I put more on now.

    Bet Selector Long Shots

Interesting. You seem to be doing quite well with bets you're not placing. Maybe use the same data but lower your accepted starting point for a bet to be placed. That is unless you're willing to sustain a longer losing streak in search of a big priced winner.

    Lovett to Sydney

Considering Lovett will be a 27 year old, with baggage, out of contract, and has told the club he doesn't want to play for the bombers. I think a second rounder is about all you'll get

    Lovett to Sydney

How bout Essendon fans get it into their heads that the swans wont even entertain the idea of trading or swapping their first round draft pick. If that means the bombers won't trade with us, and we don't get lovett..... so be it
  28. C

    Lovett to Sydney

WOW! you are so wrong it's just not funny. Buchanan is NOT a downhill player. He's actually a tough nut that goes and gets his own ball, and has influenced a number of games in the red and white. Then you go on to mention Barlow.... one of the most maligned youngsters on our list due to...

    Lovett to Sydney

How bout you read a few of your own posts before accusing someone of not being able to post subjectively. Buchanan (as recognised by one of your more savvy fellow bomber supporters) is quality. Buchanan had injury concerns this season, hence his low output, and hence my statement that the...

    Lovett to Sydney

Buchanan is exactly the player I was thinking about. Swans probably get the slightly better deal, but as you say, it's a need for need basis.... and the bombers hand has been forced to trade.
