I think they have opted to go shorter and quicker for a pressure group.
Too often last week (and previous weeks) that maniac pressure hasn't been evident and McRae highlighted conversations throught the week with the group on some honest and open wods being spoken.
The team this week while...
Agree, their two key pillars kicked 6 which was always going to be something to trouble us with Murphy's retirement yet we still managed to prevail while they flourished.
This wasn't a game where the demons where in Harry's head, he and Curnow were clunking and kicking them yet they still lost.
Nah, 77k is far too high on average for pies. No idea where they have selectively pulled that metric.
Home attendances including finals only net us 70k average which I assume is what they are trying to compare with Dortmund listed as 80k as that's the only stadium in Germany which can hold...
Where did this come from ?
77k average fans at games ? I don't think so...
That's some fabricated numbers right there.

From what happened 2min to go in the 3rd last night when McStay went to the rooms and WHE was shifted fwd with the Taylor matchup the likey scenario is
WHE moved fwd from start and Naicos primarily mid/def
I'd suggest likey changes are :
Out - McStay
In - Adams (if fit) or Noble (if Adams...
If noble was to come in, it would most likely be this game as the GWS fwds he would line up on (Daniels and Bedford) don't have the same size or presence where noble has been found out in the past (aka port & melb games earlier in the year)
In saying this, I fully expect the only change to be...
Agree, I think the issue stems more with the use of a system (Ticketek) where it feels uncontrolled in terms of access to purchase.
Some people get on before documented opening time, some people queue for only a couple of min others for half an hour. The randomness causes the anxiety of the...
Agree, I'm gold and missed out today on afl allocation trying to buy 3 by the time the server let me in.
I've still got a ticket through work, but my mum or dad missed theirs who are also gold member.
I've waited my time to become a gold member and pay more for the membership There should be...
The problem with WHE is his second half last night will earn him another 2+ weeks in the seniors in the eyes of our selection panel.
His 1st half was dismal and I was hoping that would be the end to enable a dropping and a new debutant however the 2nd half will guarantee him selection next...
Felt like he filled a crumming forward role that we have lacked. We have an abundance of mid sized lead-up fwds but he appears to have the one touch skills at ground level.
And his speed was something that we lacked. You could really see him pull away from opponents as he ran.
On CPH1951...
Cox was on a call talk back on SEN while he was golfing away with Tom Phillips and he said he was weight training again in one month based on an update from his surgeon.

So you started your AFL membership around 2004 ?
From memory my waiting list number was about 2800 for gold and I have been waiting 9 years. I think between last year and this year I only progressed about 250 spots. Seems like a long wait still.

Yes, Varcoe may well have been last out but at who's expense. For mine, the selection committee chose Stephenson over Varcoe not degoey. I think the structure around degoey is different hence why I'm a strong advocate of reid as opposed to Varcoe.

Adding to that didn't have Moore nor Roughead. Was relying on an underdone gokdsack on one of the wce key defenders.
Alot of things change, while one good player may be out it opens the door for another player to step in and shine

From memory prior to that injury early early in the north game he was starting to gain some momentum hit, hitting packs making a contest taking the occasional mark. He was looking like becoming a mainstream in the team leading into the finals.
Only problem is will be can he make it through a...
Definitly no row EE on P21. P21 is AFL members and tickets are only $21 (thats how much i paid for them), so id say she might have mis-typed the location
He is doing what I recall Dean cox doing when we was in his prime killing other rucks at stoppages and around the ground. Grundy however is built more strongly and is covering the ground far better if my memory serves correct

That's because in round 1 that was the only game Grundy was well and truly beaten at stoppages and around the ground by Stanley iirc.
Stanley had a patch at the start of the year maybe rds 1-8 where he was on fire then slowley extinguished and was later dropped.
Id like to think Grundy would...
His ability to constantly negate and nag the opposition's best inside mid was a feature today.
It will come unstuck when he begins to give away too many frees or the umpire decides to award against his tactick
It was evident that m.crouch was frustrated and I would say while it was a good...
Looking to trade out Crisp & BCrouch.
Options include :
-Houli/Yeo
-Houli/MCrouch
-Jelly/Stewart
-Dunkley/Stewart
Was sold on Jelly/Stewart at first but now thinking houli should be considered. Thoughts ?
Backline ?
Geez the midfield allowed the backline to be put under constant pressure needing to Intercept mark and repel.
The lack of forward pressure allowed repeat entries into our d50.
Harldly think it's a backline issue. Win the ball in the middle and we may see improvement

I cant remember exactly when in 2018 the stats were published but from memory our most proficient center clearance trio setup was Grundy / Sier / Degoey / Adams. I also recall that the next 2 or 3 setups all involved Sier.
With all of Sier / Adams and Degoey missing, im not too surprised our...
