From what we know Brisbane would accept #28 for Docherty. So we are better off doing the two trades separately.
#28 for Doc
Boots for #24.
We end up with #24 and #29 instead of #28 and #29.
Our reluctance to give them #28 makes me wonder if it's not about a particular player we have in mind...
Geez Lachie and Menz were outstanding today with seven goals between them. Probably the best granny I've seen since 1970. Great to finally get number 17.

Why so sensitive tonight T? My post was directed at Cringle, who was casting nasturtiums at me for suggesting the Pies have a surgeon on their board, when in fact they do. Peace!
Hey buddy, a couple of minutes on Google will tell you that one of the Pies VP's is an eminent surgeon. Ear, Nose & Throat guy. Probably knows shit about ankles, but that'd still be more than you or I.
So how's this for a plan... we let Daisy fall through into the draft. Pies don't get their pick, we get one for Eddie (two-pick swing). Main parties who might have the cap space and the desire for Daisy in the draft are GWS, Brisbane and Essendon*. Daisy can make it clear he wants to stay in...
Pick 1 in the PSD. They offer a miserable trade deal knowing if Swans don't agree they are guaranteed to get him for nix. Nothing can stop GWS from getting him except Mummy accepting an offer elsewhere, so if they have a deal with him its a lock.
