Had a chat with somebody that works at the club- nothing ground breaking but all good to hear in any case.
Walsh- kid is a freak, even his ability to recover from injuries is first rate 😂. Health wise, he should be good to go for round 1. However club will most likely be conservative with him...
I’ll spew up if the club doesn’t get Murph to 300 games.
For everyone that’s arguing that it’s ruining the culture of the club by playing him for another 5 games I would argue it will do more harm by stranding him on 297 odd.
This bloke has given absolutely everything for this club, his body...
thats my point though, he’s currently not playing that role. I agree if he’s a tagger or playing as an inside mid he should remain in the side, however the coaching group seem to have decided the last few weeks that he no longer will be and sits on a flank instead.
Curnow’s last 2 weeks:
v...
Can somebody explain to me Curnows role in the team currently?
He provides value still when he’s playing as an inside midfielder/tagger however seeing as he no longer seems to get given that role I can no longer have him in the side. Unfortunately he can’t play any other roles for the side
I don’t want to see anyone calling for Plowman to be out of the best 22 again. If the last few weeks haven’t proven how important he is to our team currently then I’ll give up watching footy.
The 3 matchups he would have had if he played….
v Swans…. Heeney 3.1 22 touches BOG
v Eagles…...
Never comment but bloody hell I’ve never been angrier watching a game.
Positives- we are winning (god knows how) after rolling into this game not switched on at all...
Negatives- these are the games we consistently lose..... roll up expecting to just win, give the other team a sniff.....let them...
I was a fan of Newman’s last year and thought he was unfairly maligned at times by our supporter base as someone that people wanted dropped when I thought he was firmly in our best 22 each week. This year however I struggle to see how he fits in our team.
Reason being- last year he was needed...
Happy to share information I get about Richmond on here as it’s basically the only club I do get info on. But if you’d prefer I didn’t because it might not always line up with your opinions I can just keep it to myself 🤷🏼♂️
Not Carlton related, but Richmond will receive compo pick 39 for Brandon Ellis. Glad it isn’t end of first rounder some in the media have been floating
I’m fairly confident in saying I don’t think any opposition club will want to swap future 1st rounders with us for next year. Realistically out of all clubs heading into next year we are probably the great unknown. We could end up finishing slightly higher then this year and hand over a pick 4-8...
Impact injuries like a fractured leg are just unlucky. Soft tissues are the ones to be concerned about. Seeing him get through a full year though should give hope and also having the best in the business in Russell managing our players loads should only increase that.
Since he’s been in the league he’s had a fractured leg, groin injuries- OP off memory? And countless hamstrings. I thought he would be one of those players that would unfortunately never get a good run at it because his body kept on letting him down. To see him play a full year this year was...
A lot of people in here severely underrating Brad Crouch. The bloke will most likely finish top15 in the Brownlow count this year.
He was heralded as a future Brownlow medalist after his first couple years. Injuries have ravaged him since then but I don’t think anyone in Adelaide could have...
