Have heard the virus is a form of CFS - similar to Alistair Lynch problem of years ago. Could affect his heart and/or skeletal system, will probably restrict training and playing time and possibly might look at not travelling for away games.
To be honest I think it would have been cringeworthy if the article was 100% positive. He had a lot to say that painted our club in the best possible light, he admitted he was ill-informed and hasty in his original assessment, he has even emerged a bonefide fan of Woosha's. The last statement...
Footballer hurt in car smash
July 18, 2006 - 10:42AM
West Coast Eagles ruckman Michael Gardiner has been taken to hospital suffering minor injuries after his car hit a power pole and careered into two parked cars overnight.
Police say Gardiner was driving in the beach-side Perth suburb of...
Fantastic win. Un-freaking-believable! Although, unfortunately for me the end result was not a surprise........I have TWO WORDS for the family and friends in the West.......DELAYED TELECAST!!!!!!!!! :(
Re: The Official "Pathetic" Game Day Excuse Thread
Woosh Part 8......
Good to see you show unshakeable faith in both your players and the game plan unlike a few posters on the WC board. Keep up the great work Woosh!
Living in Melbourne for quite a few years now I had never really encountered any verbal abuse from opposition supporters until last year Western Bulldogs vs WCE at the gee. I was sitting on the tram on the way home after a fairly humbling loss and a group of guys started getting stuck in with...
I wasn't aware that WC were on a losing streak? Getting a little bit ahead of ourselves aren't we? Perhaps a little over confident about the match tomorrow Perth Crow?;)
There is a difference between arrogance and confidence.......besides, the same could be said about some Adelaide fans. Nothing wrong with confidence, why wouldn't we be? And you lot should be too. Let's all wait and see what the scoreboard has to say on Saturday afternoon and then we'll see...
Nope, first in best dressed, members tickets go on sale on Sunday 18th. Wouldn't be surprised if it's a 50/50 split of the $10 donation to the Saints and Ticketmaster though!
Sorry, dodgy and WRONG. Better?? Stenglein still had to kick the goal though so it's all academic really. Time to build the bridge me thinks.
And how many conversations have you had with West Coast players recently? How offensive to compare warfare with football. It is a game after all, not life and death.
I not sure he is a WC supporter. And I don't think he's old enough to remember the 94 GF, or for that matter 92 or indeed 91! Would any true supporter wish that we never made those Grand Finals??
I agree, when you look back over the season, how times did Cousins lift his workrate to another level, lead by example and kick some some very important goals? I think he's underrated as a leader. Roo is a class act but IMO Ben was unlucky. I'm sure it won't bother him though....
I hope there are more true supporters out there than the likes of you. If we make the GF and the boys give it a crack, then I would call that a pretty nice dream, not a nightmare.
He was just backing up the pathetic article in The Age today where he stated the Eagles WOULD NOT WIN due to a dysfunctional forward line. Blah blah blah, well he was wrong!
Hmmmmm, interesting title to this thread. Just been reading another thread where sitings of Swan's players in enemy territory have been reported; at the casino, at the movies, I just saw them on the telly enjoying a little body surf at Cott beach........Acclimatising or vacationing???
Re: Who from our best 22 should we consider trading?
Look, I agree with you on most points. I was just making the point that dismissing someone elses opinion as silly is harsh, especially when it's not such a silly suggestion, IMO.
Yes Fevola is quality in terms of ability, but I was...
