It's all reactionary bullshit. If we won nobody would give a crap about his celebration. We lost, so it's his fault.

Standing up straight and relaxed he probably wouldn't look so big. I've seen similar action shots of guys like Milera and Pedlar, and while they're definitely toned, they aren't anywhere near as big as the photos can make them look.

It's a bit of a self-licking icecream though. Fairly axiomatic that the best teams will be up the top end for attack and defence, otherwise they won't be the best teams.

Yep. It's just that Bigman's reports are great, so when I see new posts here I get excited. Then pages about McHenry's kicking action.

Any chance of being slightly less cryptic?
Photo of a player training and with partner/friends and family with nothing comments doesn't add up to much to me.
Or is it that he has a number so assuming he's been signed?

There's absolutely nothing stopping Reid being poached from North by a Vic club that isn't anchored to the bottom of the ladder.
People seem to be assuming that it's safe for North to pick him and he'll never leave.

I don't get the arguments that GCS have given up pick 4 for points and F1 and somehow that's under.
They use the points for a top 3 player instead of using pick 4.
They have traded pick four for essentially pick 3 and a F1.
That is very good business.

Orange team all the way way tonight.
Seriously think you have a good shot.
Midfield is as good, their forward line is not as good as your backs and your forwards will dominate their back as long as you don't just kick to Aliir all night like a lot of teams do.
What was the pick swap that got us 19? Can only find consolidated overall in/out changes.
From memory it was a pretty good trade assuming North finished bottom 4.
Pretty sure like Keays it was the queue. They rated Mitch significantly higher than Keays and at least publicly didn't want him to go, but he essentially declined a new contract and asked to be delisted. He was fringe enough that he likely wouldn't play much over the following couple of years at...
My delusional hope is that this is a David Mackay offer - a pretend public offer so he can turn it down and appear altruistic.
Delusional because I genuinely think David was offered a real contract, and that Rory would turn one down.
Really not the way it should have come about, but it has finally happened. Hopefully he can jump the bar set by McHenry, Murphy Parnell et al and get a legit place in next week's team.
The minor difference there is their older guys are generally getting the job done.
Our record over the last few years is in no way comparable to Geelong and Sydney.
To suggest that we are doing the right thing with selections because it is what successful teams do is just horse poopy.
I don't see Mitch G being that valuable. He was originally only a pick 18, and even before his ACL showed glimpses but wasn't shooting the lights out.
Mid 2nd at absolute best, especially when WCE have the bargaining power of PSD.
There was a game a while ago where Nicks admitted he made a mistake subbing Soligo off for Schoenberg. Probably didn't want to make the same mistake twice, so tried to choose a different mistake.
Not particularly scientific, but from memory the 17 yo early access minidraft guys, especially Martin and Brouch had a lot of soft tissue probs early. There is probably a some merit in waiting until kids are adults before putting them in adult training environments.
I'd be happy enough for him...
I can see a scenario where Sicily gets off though. Tackle was initially fair and there was was secondary contact from another player outside his control.
Should go, but won't be surprised if he is cleared.
