They went through a pay cut last year i think and should've gone up again this year, they deserve way more, hard gig.

Well said, totally agree it was a ball up, but they have to be consistent. your ego was hurt champ.

    NFNL div 2 discussion 2022

Firstly, i'm glad you compare divvy 2 to the afl. - we had the vfl ump's in one of our praccy matches and i can assure you they were no near? we even got penalized for not having the six six six or someone in the goal square, one of the players bumped into the umps and it was a free kick...

    Bluemour Melting Pot XXVIII

oh and potential grand final team? usually goods side play within the 10pts difference on their day. No the direction they went out and played with a real direction, not the outcome of the game. more about the effort rather than the effortless.

    Bluemour Melting Pot XXVIII

Why are we lacking the same mental fortitude we had when we played against Geelong round 3 last year, but why can't we just pick that mentality up again, have the opposition teams worked us out or is the personnel? or is it the direction either way so frustrating.

Autopsy Rd 12 Lacklustre Blues Break Our Hearts Again

We've gone into this soft recruiting phase! signing or investing in players who are Carlton supporters? and have lost the notions of recruiting tough players, our team are players who would prefer to smell the roses rather than drawing a line the sand, that was evident when Yeo started to man...

    Which Carlton players are untouchable?

Opps I pressed the button before I finished. I wouldn't put Robbo on the table no-way! Walker would be my first, a few reasons 1. He wanted to leave a while back, 2. Experience player (value) 3. In great form this season. He would add good value to GWS backline or forward. I would also chuck in...

    Which Carlton players are untouchable?

Robbo has an upside on building a harder edge (mad dog Brown) to his frame, its why Vossy would grab him in a heartbeat, or Chocco Williams when coaching Port!! Adds more value I'd back Robbo to make that last tackle on the final second to win us a game than I would most of our playing list...

    Which Carlton players are untouchable?

Not sure about walker being an untouchable, I'd have him on the trade table, just my opinion. Yes his in some form, but I'm starting to question some of his attack and decision making??

    Which Carlton players are untouchable?

Surely Robbo is an untouchable, he would be one of the first blokes I'd ask to fly the flag!!

List Mgmt. Our List 2014 - Trade, De-list and Draft - (keep it all in here)

Given Sheedy is looking for experience players I'd trade walker, his a first round draftee, a ruck either warnock or hampson and our first round pick. At this stage your going to trade players that don't hold up to finals pressure football, 'twas a reason Scotland was a great get for us. One...

Autopsy Round 14 Carlton v Sydney Post Match Discussion

Boots wasn't that bad, how ever a midfielder like sugar wouldn't and I repeat "won't survive" in a tigers den or in any colosseum. We are way to "immature" body, mind and soul!!! to see simmo being thrown around like a rag doll and not being able to replicate that demonstrated that! Experience...

    Preview Rd7 Carlton v St.Kilda Monday 14th May 7.40pm @ Etihad - Final Team - post #282

Re: Rd. 7 St.Kilda v Carlton Monday 14th. May 7.40pm @ Etihad Yes agree with what your saying, but the pace has picked up that much it is why most of the top teams are making a lot of mistakes through the pace and pressures applied is to great.

Re: Rd. 7 St.Kilda v Carlton Monday 14th. May 7.40pm @ Etihad yes I guess on the back of Juddies form going into last years finals rats alluded to resting players (Geelong) Juddy then said on the couch 2 games should be sufficient enough to keep his body and mind in good shape.

Re: Rd. 7 St.Kilda v Carlton Monday 14th. May 7.40pm @ Etihad My question would be do we keep the in's from last week and keep developing depth or do we go with the policy of giving our main 22 a rest? keeping in mind McEvoy won't be playing and fisher?? these players have all played 6 six...

    Bryce Gibbs

I'm sure Gibbs got 40+ possessions playing as a mid, he was a gun as a young 17yr old, but he is more of an accomplished player now, and i'd have know doubt he'd reach Greg 'Diesels' Williams record of 53 disposals, yes it would be great to see individual accolades, but his more important in...

Game Day Rnd 6, Carlton v GWS, Etihad Stadium

I totally agree with you, i've had a wager since we drafted him, that he would get close to winning a Brownlow, given his back ground. since being drafted (pagan) he lacked a defenesive side to his game, now he plays a shut down role. No flare, no bull and grit, just smarts and percentages. I'd...

Re: Rd. 7 St.Kilda v Carlton Monday 14th. May 7.40pm @ Etihad I still think he should keep those options open, just needed to execute alot better, but the one near the centre and used two hands to tap, lost his footing, play the percentages and take the ball to ground.

Game Day Rnd 6, Carlton v GWS, Etihad Stadium

I liked a couple of his foot skills, but i wouldn't take any of that pace our of our team, specially on the back of yesterday performance?? Not sure about his efficiency rate to date, but has been effective by foot, personally i thought he did his job?? won the ball anywhere in his area.

    Worrying trend

said it once and i'll say it again...these were bad by foot and hands they weren't clean.. when you start being cute and don't respect the opposition, then targets aren't honoured and predictability goes out the window.

Did anyone see the some of our forwards frustrations in texas and robbo doing the old T-bird and Fev stapping the feet then giving the old blast for not delivering the footy??? guess a whole lot of bad habbits crept in??? it's a bit concerning that our one touch skill level has been down since...
